Placement or Shaved?

I received my CimaV8 emblem the other day. Im not positive it's the one for the rear. Ive seen pics with them botth big and small. I have below a few examples of what im thinking of doing with the rear. I have a Nissan rear badge on the wa keep in mind.

I would like options good or bad. I realize that Infiniti never made a cima so dont bring that convo up.

i prefer fully shaved or if you have the cima hood mascot i would put a nissan badge for 

the rear/ or the cima v8 on the right side alone.

I dont have a hood mascot but i have the cima grille. 

I like the shaved but I also like just the CimaV8

I would do the nissan or cima badge in the rear and the cimaV8 on both sides by the rear windows! Just my opinion!
You could also keep all the factory badges and add the cimaV8 to the left side?!

I use to like fully shaved style but I think it only looks good on sportier cars and chevys...Luxury cars need to have the chrome/gold emblems  to keep that luxo feel, at least thats my opinion.
If your going to put a CIma script emblem in the rear I think you should get the bigger one..it stands out more...

I was going to do the full shaved look until I realized that there's holes behind that center emblem and I wasn't going to pay to have the holes filled in and whole trunklid repainted, it wasn't that serious to me. My car is having an identity crisis, because I have the square emblem in the rear, but its the Infiniti logo, but the Cima grill has the Nissan emblem, I wish there was an Infiniti emblem replacement for the grill.

I thought that only Cima with rear deck lid had holes?

I was thinking the same with the "Shaved with ONLY CimaV8". Though the cima in CimaV8 looks somewhat small for the car. I'm guessing thats how it is.

Well it may be coincidence: the "F" in infiniti  fell off tonight somewhere?!?!?! 

So I will be pulling all the I N    I N I T I off. 

May rear Nissan badge isnt in yet so i ll just leave factory minus infiniti

Thanks, Z[/quote]Uh oh, that happened to my trunklid when I took my letters off. I thought the previous owner had got the trunklid repainted and superglued the letters on because all of my emblems had this dried glue that messed up the clearcoat. I ended up getting my trunklid repainted. :sad:

benji could you give me a rough estimate on a repaint job?

It probably would've been $250. I wanted them to fill in the holes so I could use my old WALD circle emblem since it wasn't wide enough to cover up the holes. I ended up selling the WALD emblem and I'm just using the square emblem which does cover them.
