rear window sunshade?

the temp has hit 90'f as i type this, and my car is frying in the sun outside.

i've tinted, side curtains, front shaded everything... but a black interior is still black :o

has anyone does one of these before, or similar? this company has no stock and i was hoping for another company out there but it's been a tough find online.

is it possible to retrofit from another car with an oem shade, like from a mercedes or even a newer lexus?

The Q45Ts come with this feature but it's only useful for passengers in the rear. I rarly to never use it. Also you could check out Garson, they have rear curtains! Also you could go with a darker tint, maybe limo that showed help alot!

To me the sunshade doesn't help at all especially if u r parking for long hours under the hot sun. The sunshade works well only when u wanna keep away from direct sunlight while u r driving or simply sitting as a passenger. The heat will still generate as usual. Try parking your car under the shade or trees...just my 2 cents!

i have 5% limo tint, which is short of spray painting the windows black, but sitting outside on the street every day while i'm at work... well, it's not working.

the side curtains are helping. nothing is egg-frying hot to the touch where the curtains are providing shade... did i mention my interior is black?

and wouldn't it be nice if parking downtown is plentiful with a nice shady tree covering each space.... sigh.

its a big piece of tinted plastic that clips in....its cool

The Rear sunshade does work.  I always keep it up when I park.  I forgot to put it up one day and the interior was like a oven.  It also helps when people behind you drive with HIDs in non projector or HID reflector headlights.

I have a Touring Q45 but mine doesn't have a rear sunshade?

I have the touring edition as well and mine does not have the shade either but, mine is a 97 and I dont think it was an option till 99-01

Yeah the lights from behind can be real distracting at times....the shades will do the work...

I think it works on lights at night and it just keeps some of the direct heat off the passengers

I have mine on my car my Y33 is a '99 non touring

and along with shade trees comes sap, bird bombs, and crazy dustesses but I like it better than leaving a shift knob size burn on my hand
