any one out there with info re having input for my 1993 jag as vip style.  I just painted my jag black and will have tinted windows and have garson's curtains.  any input out ther??????????

J-Complete is a nice place to start, but in all honesty..it comes more from understanding what makes a car VIP and styling it as such.  Jags are EXCELLENT VIP cars..not cars to make VIP style..but real VIP cars.   Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, and if they question you ask them where their Connolly leather is.  With the XJ's previous to the X300 chassis there is a few kits I've seen..just hard to find and come by.  There's several I can show you when I get back from the trip I just left on.  I have a ton of pics at home but I'm thousands of miles from there right now..haha.  I'll be back on the 24th..so be patient and I'll throw some on this thread for you after I put them up on my server.

Cool car, I used to have that same XJ6. The exterior door handles would always give problems with that generation. Are you have that issue yet? My favorite thing about my Vanden Plas was the rear tables. Anyway, they are a nice chassis to work with. I don't know what to tell you honestly with what to do in making it vipstyle, I guess curtains would be a nice touch, but definitely choose some suspension and pick out some nice fitting wheels and you'll be straight.

thanks for the tip, i'm going to get my windows tinted and i'm going to get my garson curtains in about a week and 18's .  as for now, i painted my jag black to start the vip look.

Where'd you go to get your car painted and how much?
I need to start gathering some quotes for my car!

I'm a general mgr at island sales and leasing and we send or rfefer customers to one of our venders (mesa auto body) . they did a beautiful job on my jag, paid 1,000 for my paint job.
