Japanese wheel gurus: anybody know the wheel bore on a Spirit Vientray D071?!

cant seem to find this info anywhere. not the manufactures website or google... calling the company or its distributors in japan/indonesia is also proving to be a pain in the ass.

the wheels are spirits vientry D071 20x8.5/20x9.5... if someone knows or has the capabilities of finding out the wheels bore (O.D) so hubrings can be purchased it would be appreciated.

it doesn't matter.

they will probably come in the big standard 74-78 mm (not sure exactly how big) . 

just make sure to center the lug nuts properly with 5 star configuration, also make sure the lugs are seated to the taper of the seat.

yeah it does.

Im sure its just the generic large bore japanese wheel thing. It seems like something is wrong with your car if it shakes like that, ive never used hub rings on anything, and its not like a little plastic/aluminum ring is going to bear any load. Are you torqing your lugnuts while the car is still in the air?

nothings wrong with the car. you put the stock hubcentric wheels on the car, it doesnt shake. you put wheels that need rings without installing the rings, you get vibration. its not a load bearing issue, its how the rim gets seated to the hub properly because you physically cant get it perfect just by throwing the wheel on a hub not designed to fit that exact wheel..

this lexus' bore is a 60.1. tons of wheels that you can buy for this car are shipped with hubrings because the wheels bore is universal, therefore about 99% of the time not exactly the same size of the car you are putting the wheel on. ex: a company makes a wheel to fit 20 different cars with a 114.3 bolt pattern, none of these cars have the same bore on the hub, so is this company going to A; make 20 different versions of the same wheel, for each different car, and stock all 20 different bore sizes of each style and size wheel they make... or B, make it a standard bore width and include the $15 set of vehicle specific rings with each wheel package.. its simple...

Did you think about checking your wheel bearings?

Well, if you don't find your answer in time, its not that bad to run wheels without hubcentric rings. Usually the wheels themselves are lugcentric. Just be sure your criss-cross tightening the lugnuts at 80ft/lbs each. Use an accurate torque wrench to eliminate wheel vibrations at all speeds. This has worked for me on all of my wheels and not all of them are the perfect center bore for my Nissans/Infiniti's. Just some info if you don't find your answer on the bore size of those wheels.

Naa he will need them depending on the wheel.My 745 vibrated until I put them on and the vibration went away after that...

hub centric rings were used for cars that use lugbolts.. no?
i'm not running hub centric rings in my car and it works just fine,
no vibration no nothing. also a few of my friends are running wheels
without centric rings. i used to think you needed them so i scrambled
to get some on my old car.

any reputable rim shop should have calipers to figure out what size centric
rings u need to order. get it measured out or measure your own and call
up tirerack and order some. or discounttire
