Dog fight

Its all over the news now. It has always been illegal but now its exploding into the media b/c of vick. What do you all think of dog fighting?
 
I really didn't care at first b/c i thought pit bulls need to decrease in population anyway but i just saw a video of one. The site is horrible when you see the loosing dog being bit in the neck while using his 2 hind legs to push off the other dog. Then you hear the loosing dog whine for the life of him. I'm not a PETA fanatic but damn..

it sucks...the way dogs are so loyal to their masters and these guys treating them like crap...I've got a pitbull and I've had 7 rotts in my lifetime...

I have 3 dogs, 2 pugs and one pekingnese and I just cant even imagine them getting dying that way.  Thats good san diego didnt draft Vick.  He deserves whats coming to him and then some.

pretty sad deal.... especially when you own the kind of dogs they use to fight and then they are automatically profiled as mean or vicious dogs.

What an idiot this guy is and I too am a dog lover and never could understand how people could be this inhumane...I agree that he deserves what he gets...

they hung some, electrocuted, and even bodyslammed the dogs that didn't fight.  I guess the 25k purse had to do with the anger.....

I'm not expert but I'm sure if you follow the directions as follows, you'll have results desired
 
1:  Pick your loving,loyal 4 legged friend up
2: extend your arms holding your loving, loyal 4 legged friend over your head
3: with all your might and strength (you'll have to be fast) throw your loving loyal 4 legged friend into the concrete, dirt, or any other hard surface.
 
If your loving loyal 4 legged friend is still moving...repeat steps 1 through 3.

Ive seen people do it in the street in brooklyn.  People would bet on which dog would win and it would usually end up in a bloody mess unless the owner of the dog getting attacked quits and declares the otehr dog a winner.
 
Im not a fan of it but the media is making this seem like the worst thing ever.  He didnt kill anybody or wasnt cought with a large amount of drugs like other NFL players.  The maximum sentence of 6 years is way too harsh imo.

They should've just stuck with the chickens.

I have a friend that used to cock fight when he lived in mexico, and those are some of the funniest stories I have ever heard.  As for Vick I think he deserves what he gets,  b/c not only does he have to worry about our laws, but he also has animal rights and the humane society going after him, so he's pretty much f*ck'd.  As for me I own a Min Pin and in the future 2 fullsize Dobies, which are on the Black List here in FL. Watch out.
