hey all i just joined recently cause i wanted to know more about vip style. and what kind of car is best for vip.

Welcome to VSC. As far as a chassis to choose, maybe we should ask what you have budgeted for just the car. Not the mods, but what you have to spend on the car itself. That way we can help you to pick out the best options that meet your price tag.
my budget is going to be small to start. but later on it will get bigger. i want to know what a good starting point is. i have found a few lexus ls400's for under 5k which is as high as i can go price wise. but my dad has owned a bmw for a while and i like those. his is a 2dr so i would like a 4dr. i have been looking for a 750li with the v12. found one way out of my price range. but i joined this site to learn so any help or education on vip style and cars.

Especially a V12...labor will drain you. The LS is a great platform to pick up at a reasonable price. I'd say go with your max budget currently so that you have a nicer car later when you're finished. Don't worry if it takes a little time to mod it up. You're young so there's plenty of time to work hard and get those mods going.
