Big truck small egos.

[FONT=Comic Sans MS][SIZE=4]Yesterday on my way home in the q, there was this dodge ram hemi powered that was tailgating a acura cl for no reason. The cl slowed up and got behind him and turned on stowe. Then when I turned right on scripps poway prky, I saw this mustang coming up fast, at the same time the dodge just sped around the corned too. The mustang was an old co-worker of mine and he was giving me thumbs up on the car. Lol. Then we took off down the hill after the green light and midway down the hill we slowed down because he won :( dog on weight. 
 
But as we slowed down, the light turned yellow and all of a suddent you see this dodge ram that was being a jerk fly down the hill not realizing that it was a yellow light. :slap: Ended up making that left turn on pamerado way too fast and he spun out four times and the truck was hopping like it had hydrows. :smiley-rofl: Everyone started busting up laughing. tHis asain guy and his family were rolling next to me. Practically on the floor. He ended up facing opposite way of traffic and and reversed and sped back up pomarado. Stupid. But it had the hwole intersection busting up laughing because he thought he was big man on his 24" rims on a dodge ram thinking he could slow down like normal. lol :shrug:

That's a great story!!! I hate big trucks and suv's you can't see around them. Here in Florida you see tons of them Redneck 4x4s, DUB style SUV's and trucks with (24,26, or +30" rims).:ughdown: People who have these ridulous size rims are straight idiots, they never upgrade their brakes to bigger brakes. Man those rims a cheap cast wheels and heavy as hell. 

Let's see I'll put on the largest rims possible, should I upgrade my brakes, no I'll skip that since it cost $800 just to mount my tires on the rims. IDIOTS. It's funny to see someone rolling with those huge rims and their brakes look like civic dx brakes.

I'm just glade my brother wasn't stupid enough to chase him and crash! :3gears:

That's an awesome story. I agree though, 95% of truck drivers around where I live drive like they own the road and think they can tailgate anybody who isn't in a bigger truck.

I understand your point of view however I am sure those folks feel the same about slammed cars that take for ever to turn into a parking lots..or slow down at the train tracks because their cars are ridiculously low and sitting there wonder why it looks like there wheel are broke because of mad camber...
 
VIP is not KING of Styling....I love both and many styles and have had Big SUV's with Big wheels and lifted trucks with huge 35" tires....and slammed cars with crazy offsets..
 
There is a lot of time and money that go into some of the better ones and some of those wheels are not cheap wheels..$16000 for some wheels is not cheap at all and in fact if the person modding the car can dump that much into wheels then I am sure they could build three VIP cars with the price of just their one Big SUV..I know I dumped about 25 g's on my suburban...
 
I was not a jerk driving and I think there are jerks in all cars...I have been in my car and tail gated by a little Honda civic and some wanna b white boy gangster tried to act all hard in front of his lady...He got punked....So small slammed cars can have jerks behind the wheel just the same..

I agree with this 100%. I too have been tailgated by those wanna b's in there Civic with just an intake and axle-back exhaust riding up on my tail too. At that point I'll usually downshift and then they'll pull up along side of me and then I upshift again so they can here my BOV and then they back away.:smiley:

when they tailgate me.... and there is a car coming up in the close passing lane ill slow down till he changes lanes and then i speed up and make them look stupid behind the slower car.

i hate it when people act super hard when all there car has is subs and rims. and drive around like assholes. i live in long beach.. and there are plenty of times i get pissed at some idiot trying to be cool and almost hitting me....huy...

I completely agree that some of those SUV's are nicely hooked up DUB style, but if your gonna rock rims bigger than +3 sizing wouldn't you agree that you should upgrade the brakes I've rarely seen that done around here in FL. If your rocking ASANTI's/DAVIN or some premium billet multi piece rims you will get props from me. Other wise it is equivelent to rocking Sportmax (HELO, ICE METAL, BIGG, etc.). I know those cats with DUB style SUV's dump tons of money into their cars, I have a bunch of friends that sell rims and tires to them (some of them to Jacksonville Jaguar players).

Also here in FL there are tons of rednecks w/4x4's that  just try to roll up on lowered cars and try to blind you and make stupid comments like "I hate them dang lowered cars, I'd like to just run em over in my truck." 

Then there are the import and domestic racers that rev up on you, just because your lowered and have aggressive wheels. 

Yes, there are ignorant drivers in all styles of cars and I can appreciate those styles as long as they are done tastefully. 

I still don't get DONK style, it just ridulous to me.

yeah the donk is nothing that I care myself but to each his own right..its crazy to see an old cutlass witha lift kit on and 26 but I'm not going to haite on all of them fools cuz you know a lot of those fools have other rides to and most likely are not daily drivers..could be wrong but I don't know how stable a donk would be on the freeways..and cornering at high speeds could cause those cars to flip...:shrug:
