New to the scene...bot not to imports...

Hi. I'm fairly new to the scene but a long time admirer. I've always wanted one but always had other automotive aspirations. Actually hard to believe but my first serious car was/is considered bippu as far as a FR VIP rides go ('92 Mitsu Diamante); you old schoolers can see a pic if you have a March '99 Super Street laying around. It was done up like a Super Touring/Evo Look... ah signs of the times....anyway that's another story... I currently reside in Japan, and I am stockin' up on stuff to bring home. Determined on purchasing a FGY33 as my daily as I cannot drive the other car that often. So I finally decided it was time. My question is this:

Has any one puchased a Japanese Market coilover suspension (JIC, Insurance, Aimgain, Anceltion, etc, etc) intended for a FGY33 Nissan Cima and installed it on a US Market '97-'00 Infinti Q45? My understanding is that these supensions have dropped spindles for the front struts. I was curious if it makes a difference, since they are intended for Japanese Market version. Are there any possible special differences that might be on the JDM RHD counterparts. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to do a quick search. It's been done by a few guys, one of them on this forum explained the whole deal with pics.
