Another tire stretching question
Planning on purchasing the new Flaken 452s
225/30 on a 20x9
235/30 on a 20x10
is that too much of a stretch?
Here are pics of a members ride with 20x9 235/30 and 20x10 245/30

I plan on doing a 225 on a 9.5, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. I think a 225 on a 9 in the FK452 is not THAT crazy of a stretch.

ya, the 452s are oversized compared to the 451s. I had a nice strech on a 19x10 with a 265/30 451s, but when I went with a 245/35 452s it was barely a strech at all.

ya, it would i guess
452's sizing are way too off IMO, id go with a different tire that stretches better in that same size. or do a 215/35 and 235/35 with a dunlop or something

thats a normal stretch
a 215/40 on a 9 and a 225/40 on a 10 (18) is as far as im going to go
i might switch to 235/35 for the rear though

u really should go 35 series.
aspect ratio has little to do with stretch, people are stretching 40 series.
it's the width of tire in relation with width of wheel that matters.
225 35 20 and 245 35 20 should set u good.

I would say go w/ the 225-35 & 235-35 IMO
I have 225-35 & 245-35 and I want a smaller rear,
if I go low enough sometims my tire rubs against my fender (stinky!)
My fenders are cut w/ no pull!

well shiet, I already ordered my tires, but check this out...
452s with 35 series only come in (20in)
245, 255, & 275
452s with 30 series only come in (20in)
225, 235, 245, 255, 275, & 285
The section width for s 225/30/20 is 8.9" , My last set of rims I was running a 225/35/19 on a 9 (Falken Azenis ST115) and thier section width is 9.1"
After my car comes out of paint, it will no longer be daily driven. I plan on only taking her out on the weekends and to carshows/meets. Do you think I will run into any problem going with this kind of stretch?

Well, the 225/30 wouldnt fit in the front. We aired it up and it would keep slipping to the outside of the wheel. I put the 235/30 on the 9 and now I must order some 245/30 for the rear.
