whoa. what in the world...there's no way the Garson guys sat there and pieced all of those crystals individually.  It already takes zion like 8 hours for a small emblem.  imagine that beast!  damn.

seen this many times - i <3 it! all the crystals were hand placed. notice the hood has 2 different types of crystals that make a 2tone type of look. amazing quality of work on that benz.

yeah i think the hood and sides have black diamond colored crystals. supposedly it has about $400k worth of crystals total on the car. that interior is to die for.

wow..nice pics..I bet that took like around a 6 months to a year to put those crystals on..probably or a lot of people working on seperate parts..either way thats a lot of bling.

I love it more every time I see it! I don't care how gaudy and hideous it is, it's too outright awesome!

Damn, I would've never thought that you would ever see that SL on the road. But like firelizard said, no matter how gaudy and hideous it is, that car is AWESOME!

That Benz is amazing, I believe that there are like 300,000 crystals on her. I also think that the parts that are black are actually that way due to the paint beneath being black. I talked to guy here at Garson-USA and he says the car is stateside now to promote the company and that it was either at the previous SEMA or going to the next. He also said that R. Kelly (you know, the King of R&B) has called several times to try to purchase it, but they wouldn't sale it. ?(Some how I knew he'd be the first.) If you would like such a thing done to your car, Garson would be glad to do it, but you have to ship your car to their facility :)

I saw it in person at AS , it looks even more crazy in person. I cant believe they drive it around !

ill get to see it person in about a month at the DUB show. thats what they said on their website.

When I visited Garson Co. back in January in Osaka, I spoke to them about the car and the crystals on it.

It took them 3 months and 8 people to cover the car in crystals.  And yes, it was hand layed.
