US Market / JDM Market Y33 Coilovers

Hi, I originally posted this up in the 'New Guy' Section...

I was wondering if anyone has bought coilovers for a FGY33 Cima in Japan,  brought them to the US and had any problems with fitment on a '97-'01 Infiniti Q45.  I've been looking through various threads and can't seem to get a clear answer. I pose this question due to the small yet signifigant differences between US and JDM counter parts and would be very disappointed to drop 2 grand and still have issues.  A prime example would be the JIC FLT-A2-VIP Series (US Market) vs. JIC VIP FLT-TAS and/or VIP FLT-TAR (Japanese Market). Is it simply a name change or is there a signifgant difference.

I ask the question because I am here in Japan and would like to puchase a set before I return to the US.  Any help would be appreciated.

I have JIC VIPFLTA2 on my Q. It works just fine, although you need to find out if your bolts are 12mm or 14mm. That's the only difference. I got my coils back in 2k5 so I really can't recall but I think the US coils have 14mm bolts. I forget.. haha

Yes, just verified ... 14MM. 

12mm for JDM

my bad gys...didn't mean to convey the wrong info...USDM y33's only have one size...14mm...the V6's in japan are 12mm...
