is there anything i should keep my eyes on? as far as maintenance and replacing stuff. i wanna keep this forever and hopefully pass it to my son.
well when i buy used cars i try to keep up with all the maintenance check all the bushings and especially with automatics i try to get a transmission power flush done so that i wont have to worry about how the previous owners took care of the tranny.
Have any of you guys taken your cars in for service???? If not be prepared to dig deep into them pockets lol.........Infiniti is an expensive car to maintain.
2001 LS430 115k .... All ive dones is oil changes and some regular maintenance. Its a bit expensive to maintain, but as long as you keep up with the car you avoid the even bigger problems.
138808 on my q bought it 8 months ago. Engine is about to blow (misfires all the time) Will be holding out on mods till its running right. So far replaced: K&N Air Filter, Mobil 1 Syn (Mobil 1 Filter), and a OEM Nissan Fuel filter. Next: OEM NGK Plugs and Knock Senors
My 97 gots about 120K got it about two years ago wit 107k..I have replaced the alternator and breakes to the Raybestos ceramic pads, Custom Tenzo Air intake, Custom Exhuast..She runs grreaat..Only thing I heard is the timing chain is a grip to replace..but I guess when it breaks you fix it right or is there a 100k maintance that I need to know about.
270 something thousand kilometers, on its first motor and transmission =)

Zion and DEE I believe the chain guides are only issues on the G50. You shouldn't have to worry about them on the Y33. Z
I bought my 94 GS3 on10-29-05 with 84,340 miles on it.it now has 91,103 miles on it.I've since done a full tune up ie.oil change with synthetic oil,trans flush,brake flush,power steering flush,spark plugs,wires,t-belt,water pump.the car runs perfect and I love it.
1991 LS 400. 300,000 miles as of today. original motor / original tranny. kept up. waiting to hit half a mil like this one guy from New York did that was featured in a Lexus magazine on his 1990 LS 400.
da mn crash. half a mill hahahah i wish the Q would make it that length
I bought my 99 Y33 about three months ago. I had 72k on it and now have 78k :pat: yeah i drive a lot. Only replaced the rear brakes, oil filter and oil. Synthetic is pure hotness IMHO
Zion and DEE I believe the chain guides are only issues on the G50. You shouldn't have to worry about them on the Y33. Z
Correct, and only on 90-93 G50 at that. I have only 20K on the 02' C240 and "a lot" on the 96' Vanden Plas.
Got my '90 at 78k miles. Now at 104000ish.
Bought my van in 98 with 48,000.. Now it has 107,xxx..Daily driven, 40 miles a day.. All major tune ups and maintenance already done. T-belt done 3 months ago. Need to replace P/S boots and another major svc..Also need to do a complete 4 wheel brake job.
Drive an 03 Lincoln LS w/ 52,000 on it. Bought it with 48,000 about 9 months ago.
I bought my 93 LS 6 months ago with 166.5K and now it has 170.5k, all scheduled maint has been done since car was new, and it drives like it to.
99 gs400, 92k on the dial.
89 cressida, 116,xxx miles and 4 headgaskets deep !!!!! common who can beat my headgasket count ?!? :)
My '91 Corrado I bought with 118k miles on it in Jan. of '06 and it sold a couple of weeks ago with 123k on it, but it was sitting in my garage for 8 months. My '94 Corrado only has 62k miles on it with a Stage 1 turbo kit on it(almost stage 2) and runs like there's no tomorrow.
i got a 2001 Lexus LS430: bought it brand new with 2 miles back in 00' and now i have 99,985 miles
My 03 TL has 29,xxx on it. Bought it new 07/03
