My Q45... updated pics on page 2
I will apologize early since, Ive been working on this for almost close to 4 years and I only have pics to show and I know most of our members are the "I bought a car last week and BAM everything is done" type.
Im the one classfied in one of the topics as "rolling VIP parts in the garage":signdammit: :smiley-rofl:
But anyhow, here is were my car sits now.
UAS air suspension had it profesionally installed because I saw the contents of the box and thought to myself this is something thats way over my head.
Sorry I only have pics of the rear and trunk set up as the car was still in the bay.
This is how much the rear stuck out with no camber. The fronts stuck out just as much.:pat:
Side angle of the rear
And the trunk setup. I wasnt expecting them to do anything to the trunk but they actually installed blue strobing LED lights that point toward the tank and the mirror infiniti logo on the back...
Thats it for now, I am getting the car hopefully this weekend and then i can start playing with the camber.

Yeah, at times I just want to hang it all up and just be part of the people who look from the sidelines, but I already came this far, might as well try to drive it.

Is it close? or way more aggressive?

His are more aggressive than mine, but mostly in the front. If I'm calculating correctly, 1"=25.4mm. If his setup were a 19x9/10 setup like mine, his offsets would be 19x9 -35, 19x10 -35. So, comparing mine, 19x9 -12, 19x10 -29, he would be 23mm out more than me for the front and 6mm more out than me for the rear. He would have to find ways of adding more camber in the rear than me or pulling more, or stretching more to gain to clear those 6mm that for me right now I can't spare. After experimenting with a 15mm spacer up front making the wheel a 19x9 -27, and maxing out the front camber plate at -3.5 degrees, I was at the point that I wish my camber plates could add more camber because it was just a little too much poke for me, that I had to take the spacer back off. So with that being said, if -27 on a 19x9 up front already had poke with camber added and just a rolled fender, he would need to pull the fenders some. It'll be some work to get his wheels to fit, but it will look killer in the end.

to correct you. he'll be a 11mm difference. remember, that whole inch doesnt not add on one side. if it did you'll be correct, his offset would be -35. it adds .5" to the front side and .5" to the back of the rim.

Ah yes, your right I didn't factor that in. Good catch. So if 1"=25.4mm, and it only adds half of that as offset, would 19x10/11 -10 equal 19x9/10 -22.7 being that each wheel is an 1" less and adding -12.7mm of offset?
lol, I think my brain hurts now. I'm just trying to give Vince some hope of what is needed to make fit.

When hes done fitting them he will achieve what most Japanese try for PHAT - Widest wheels. Japanese also like LIP but for them the main thing is WIDER wheels. Its insane LQQKing at the car from the rear when your running 11" or more........... GO PHAT or try try again.
USA Version is go 9.5 or 10 rears with biggest lip......... nothing wrong with that. When i see 2 cars I drool over the 11" 12" before i would the 10".
That being said you better make these wheels fit or send them back...........

Yea same here. I was planning on buying these wheels from Vince because I wanted the wider wheels, but he decided to keep them and I ended up with the Works. Unfortunately, Work doesn't seem to make anything wider than a 10", but I decided to just get them so I have something to roll on for the erest of the summer. I also like that wide steamroller look from the rear so I'm still looking for that 19x10/11 setup. Though, I have been noticing that even those guys who are sometimes running 19x10/11's are still running tires that are the same as those on 19x9/10's which kinda defeats the purpose since the tread width is still the same, just more stretch. Either way, Vince should be able to make these fit and when he does, it'll be awesome. If not, he needs to sell them to me.

Yeah even thou its almost the same size tire when your looking at the steamroller its hard to see that its stretched all you see is PHAT.

Can you shave down the backpad of the wheel or is it flat like a lo disc wheel?

That is one thing I was actually thinking about.
The rears are doable since I have camber adjustments and fender roll and pulling to help me achieve the right look and height.
The fronts are a different story, but am looking into having a machine shope shave off a few mm's to get it closer to the fender so I dont have to work the front fenders as much.
But this is all that has to wait until I get the car out of the shop.
To be continued.
Benj,
Your wheels now looks HOTTTT!!! but I will PM you first when the time comes brother. :)

I'm surprised they stick out so much. I fit
19x10 +0 245/35
19x11 +11 275/30
with camber and rolled fenders. How much camber is there now? That's not all the way down right? I would think with more stretch and a little more camber those wheels should fit fine

No camber and it cant go lower since the fender is now resting on the tire. But it can.

Going to install the adjustable ruca's and the tension rods probably next week. With that I will play with camber and see how much I need to pull to cover the tire tread.
I don't mind having the sidewalls showing but I want the tread to be covered.
The fronts I have no idea how im going to camber that in, as Benji has the Cuzco camber plates and that didn't camber his fronts in as much. Most likely pulling the front as well...
This all has to be done in a slow manner as my wife's hormone balance is kinda iffy since she is pregnant. I really don't understand women sometimes...one day we're good the next im america's most wanted:shrug:
We will see...

I know this is probably gonna cost alot more than just pulling, but IMO the amount of pulling required to fit those fronts will probably make it look like a duckbill. I would get proper flares made up for that - it will look much cleaner...
Btw, those wheels either have close to 30 neg offset, or they are alot wider than 11"!!!

yeah I was gonna say... are the offsets marked on the wheels? Cause I have 19x11 +11 w/ 275/30 in the rear and they tuck under rolled fenders, no pull with the stock camber curve. Looks like yours stick out alot more than another 21mm

Those wheels must be 12inches wide because no amount of pulling is gonna tuck those wheels.

It has to do more with offset than width.
Do this to make it fit:

Here's a few pics, riding on blown JIC coilovers now. I will make a post with new pics this weekend after I get my new JIC VIP coilovers on and I want to try out my new lense anyway. Has 19x10 +0 245/35, 19x11 +11 275/30 in the pics, all stock suspension arms except for rear toe. rolled fenders no pull

Looks like yours didn't even stick out with those specs.
Very nice man. :)
But how much different would a +11 and a -10 would be on the same wheel width? Maybe being that your wheels were in the + made it pushed in compared to mine... I dunno...wheel experts can you guys chime in?
EDIT:
I just saw that car infront ofyours...what are his specs? thats a 240sx right?
You see his rear wheel, how the tire tread is covered and just the sidewall showing...im hoping i can achieve that with the rear...the fronts...i duno.

The difference between 11j -10 and 11j +11 is just 21mm.

Yes 21mm......Those wheel's look sick with the poke, but same camber wouldn't go astray, can't wait to see it finnished, it'll look awsome if you do make it look like that 240sx.......

Haha, it's called Insurance Group. The flares are from their Special Sedan Series and are less than $300. Here's the pics:

yeah your wheels should stick out another 21mm. Which should be pretty easy to fit with some more stretch and camber. Looks like alot more than 21mm in the pics though. still should look great when it's done. Not sure of the specs on the s14, i think 18x9, 18x10 in the negatives with super streched tires. You should be able to pull off that look with the right ride height/camber and a little pull
EDIT: I'd stay away from flares if possible, I definitely prefer the stock fender look. The black y33 on the last page is hot!

I would re think your tire sizes you need a more streched tire with less sidewall. Think about putting a 225/35 on the front and a 265/30 on the rear. Test fitted a friends 10.5 -12's this past weekend and they are close to fitting in the fender without much of a problem. He just needs more camber to get it in there, maybe -3degs.

Did some measuring today with the car on full down. I measured it from the edge of the fender to the lip of the wheel. And it came out 50mm. Same with the front.

thats 2 inches my friend! Wow I would go to a machine shop and see if they can mil 10mm out of the inside of the wheel hub. That should effectively give you -1 offset. Secondly I would get some 245/40 out back on that 11J then dial in some camber and get that bish to sit right . That should effectively give you -1 offset. The front you can go with a 235/40 and also get them milled down. So then you should fit rather well with some serious camber. I would consider taking the camber plates to a machine shop and have them make you some customer camber plates with more of a camber slot. The next step would mean a full adjustable arm kit from a reputable manufacturer.
Keep me posted
