Newbie with a suspension dilemma!

I just purchased a 1991 LS400 and cant decide to run Air suspension or coilovers. I just left the 240sx scene and still have the drifter in me. I have heard horror stories about air suspensions blowing on cars while flying thru turns. I like to drive fast and need something that will handle the turns. I've been looking into the JIC coilovers because i know those would handle thru my driving.Then for Air suspensions i've been looking at all of them. Air runner is pricey but the nicest imo, and uas is cheaper but alot of customizing. Which i dont mind doing at all. But what is the safest for going fast, coilovers or Air?

Not sure who told you those horror stories..because I have heard of many people having quite the fun with their airsus.  Half the time something goes wrong with it's because the system was not set up right or they used the wrong components.  Operator error is to blame a lot too.  Why do you think AirRunner is the best?  Because it costs a lot?  I beg to differ, shoot me a PM if you want my real opinion.  I don't want to upset anyone...

Um....the LS400 isn't a really great car to go drifting in....it's got no LSD, and is very heavy, which will easily induce good ole peg leg drifts. You are better off going with coilovers if you want to be hardcore. If you want to go a smooth ride, relatively tight through turns (at certain ride heights) and awesome low-ness, just go with air. Prices I've seen, it's not too much more, and with so much more to offer, I regret buying coilovers in the first place.

I think it just comes down to what kind of body work you're gonna do to it.  If you're gonna put on some expensive full body kits, then air would be the best choice.

Since when UAS is considered alot of customizing? 



Just go with the coils if u into hitting turns hard with less roll, and a stiffer ride.

if you want to go fast around corners get another 240, this isnt exactly the best platform for your needs

Im not planning on turning this into my next drift car or anything thats for sure. I just want to be able to still have fun with it (donuts,burnouts and so on). I've pretty much decided on Air suspension. Im gonna be keeping my 240 shell to build up. Just parting out everything else. I've been looking into the easy street digital kit. Any personal info on this kit?
