Pizza and Crack

Got a bite of pizza with a friend and on the way home had a truck kick up a piece of wood at me. :sad:

Luckily I had the wheel off to get the bubbled tire replaced.

Hit  right below the front passenger corner, i guess i'll save up and get a real quality kit or something. probably fixable but I just can't care anymore. :signdammit:

Damn that sucks! Was it a big hit? Seems like it cracked like an eggshell!

whatever you do don't tell your insurance company.... they'll say it was drifting... hahahahahaha sorry couldn't help it, hey man don't worry this is just a sign that it was time to go sicker than before.... you sorta had it planned anyways right? or at least i think i remember reading you saying that! :biggthumpup:  but i feel ya on that one man

Dam that sucks.  I know the feeling.  It would happen alot on my other car.  I did some research and learned how to use fiberglass so I would keep fixing it everytime it would break on me.  Could of been worse though, part of the bumper could of fell off or you could of had your wheels on and risked damaging them.

Yeah I be lieve I can fix it just having to deal with painting and crap.

Yah, that's totally fixable...sucks, but fixable.

5th can be a harsh street especially that big dip by the old electric company if you know where I mean...did you flag that truck down and tell him what happend..He should be responcable if something fell out of his truck and hit your car...believe me I know..:pat:

I guess it was debri on the road, it came from under the truck but I didn't have enough reaction time to try to avoid it. Heard a few clunks and pretty knew I got some work cut out fo rme, I thought it was alot worse but looks better once i pulled the cracked part from under the rest of the bumper. O_O

There has been alot of tree branches and crap in the road that morning I think I had to dadge big ass branch in the road on the way to work. Stupid storms.

Might be time to test the booth I found. Let's do it white. It is something that can be fixed in about 2~3 hrs without paint. I can hook U up with black or white paint if you want to. Only problem is to match that colour.

Damian, don't worry, we'll fix this in no time. We can start saturday evening @ ur place after working on the S13.5 @ DM.

Yeah Well It got Worse, I should have taken the bumper off but it started storming again on my way home today. I should have taken the bumper off last night. It will need to be repainted after working on it.

Bright side is atleast all my wheels match and I can go over speed bumps.

The front end damaged I tried to fix my self though. There was a dent in the rear corner next to the hatch on the driver side, he cleaned it up really good.

That sucks. Car looked good too. Man I hope you got that good bondo and fiberglass. Pancakes and I had to deal with the same thing. Only my father in law backed his truck into my bumper from my eclipse. Watch out for those hairs that make you itch from the fiberglass :shrug:

Haha, I wore an old long sleeved jumpsuit, and taped my sleeves to my gloves and still got itchy from fiberglass!

It's not so much applying it as it is sanding it that makes the itchy dust

It may sound funny, but shirtless is the best way to do it, I've found.  It gets EVERYWHERE on clothes.  But it doesn't stick to skin as easily and cleaning it off is far easier, just don't rub your skin.  When applying raw glass yes, covered up is better since the strands can stick to your skin..but sanding it is another story.  This is just from my own experience.  And ALWAYS wear a mask and eye protection:

Not if your a hairy beast!

i eat fiberglass and resin for breakfast with a glass of bondo every morning. Toast with hardener sometimes. My matress is r38 insulation without the protective plastic... and I also don't take showers; I like smelling like a man.
