Stolen Jzx73 Cressida San Jose, Norcal
Hey everyone, my friends JZX73 Cressida (1985-1988 Cressida body style with a 1jz) got stolen last night here in San Jose, NorCal. It is silver with a slight tint of light blue color. It has a demon drop, that is the front is sitting way lower than the rear because it has coilovers up front and rear is on stock springs.
Specs are as follows:
-X73 Bodystyle
-silver with light blue tint is the color
-stock cressida rims up front and 14" steelies out back
-Evo 8 front mount
-Nardi wood steering wheel with long hub The nardi is smaller than your average wood steering wheel.
-1JZ 5 speed manual
-Digital cluster
-Coilvers have Tokico HTS struts with QA1 COILOVERS, strut body is painted bright blue.
We know for a fact, there isn't much IF any JZX73 Cressida's out here even more so any Cressida here in SAN JOSE with a J motor.
We suspect the car has been towed and the people that took it know whats up, because clearly there were other cressidas in the lot and this one got singled out. Also, there is a huge line from the exhaust piping where the Cressida was because of the piping laying on the ground. No sign of forced entry either.
We also know, that it has to be somebody that stopped by the area before and obviously knows about these cars. It can also be some freaks lurking around this board.
If you guys find parts as listed above floating around for sale around SAN JOSE, OR ANY CITIES THAT ARE NEAR BY AKA Milpitas, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Cupertino and wherever else. Please contact me ASAP.
So if you know somebody who mysteriously had a Cressida with the so called parts appear in their garage, now would be a good time to SNITCH. I suggest you do because we have tons of people already on the look out.
And if that person that stole this car is reading this.
FU.CK YOU AND QUIT LIFE.
posting for a buddy. im trying to contact him on more info on the car.
gg theifs, hope somone breaks your knees and puts on in your dome.

We found the car off of 680 south to the 101 N/S on ramp. Its a whole different chassis, but with the parts in it. The car had the stock 5M with auto tranny, so somebody in San Jose has the 1JZ and 5 spd tranny. Believe me, we're going to find you.
CHP took the car because they said, my friend had no proof that those parts in/on it were his. Which is funny, because they were his. So now were working on getting that shitty chassis back to take the parts off and then we're going to be looking for the shitbag that took that car and that still has the motor.
UPDATE.
i hate fucken theifs. i still want one fucken theif to pull some shit on me. i swear i would put them in a wheel chair for life.

i dono personally. but from there description, the theifs took the 1jz-gte with the 5speed out and put back in a 5m-ge with auto trans... so shit... i would say that the theifs have either a celica supra, same cressida. cause i think those are the only 2 cars that have the 5m-ge motors that they could of used if they were to easily swap them out.

that's slick. the time they spend these days to hide themselves. that also means they knew of the car and prepped their own for a quick swap. bet their engine was already out to. put yours on jacks and 1,2,3 we're done...

Cant they match the engine numbers on the engine they put in the Cressida up to the car that the engine came from? Here in Australia your Engine number is recorded on the registration papers, so if they want to find out where it came from it wouldnt be hard...
Damn i should be a detective. I would have nailed these bastards already...
