chrome pillars...yay or nay

These are chrome pillars made by Sessions. They are excellent quality. I didn't stick them on yet, just placed them on the pillar to see if I like them or not. I'm still not sure.... What do you guys think???

iam partial to them iam sure they would have to grow on me a little :shrug:

i have always thought the chrome b pillars werr koo...but i still havent been able to feel that green tint other than zions car.

IMO they work best with untinted windows.  If the windows are tinted, it draws too much attention to the chrome sills.  Just put it on the B-pillar and leave the little window sill off.  Thats your best bet.

Looks great, as does the rest of your car. Chrome b pillars look good, as long as there isnt too much other chrome on the car.

It grows on me after a while, maybe it would look better in black chrome....

I like em on white cars, but those window visors throw off the look imo.

YUCK!!!!! That's like putting chrome fender trim on your ride.....the windows should not draw your attention away from the  rest of the car...and putting chrome on them makes them stand out like a sore thumb......

I consider them to be Ghetto!!!! or the equivalent  to  ricing out a honda.

your gs is SICK.  the pillars will look even better once your car is slammed

What is ghetto? Arent those small shack like apartments that the guvment made the japanese live in, in hawaii after pearl harbor, or some undesirable places in big cities? I guess you've never picked up a VIPCar magazine or VIPstyle magazine....chrome pillars are on a lot of the VIP cars....but then again, "you're from the midwest so you may be a little behind on the VIP scene"<---- see how that comment was generalizing and sounded stupid??
 
not everyone has to like the chrome pillars, that's why I put up the poll to express your opinion but generalizing that chrome pillars are for black pimps and not part of the VIP scene are totally wrong.

I like chrome door pillars on white or silver cars.  But on a black car i think itll disturb the flow of the car, especially if you have chrome door handles already.

BTW widenlowy33 no one is questioning your opinion about the pillars...its your remark about being for black pimps and that chrome pillars NOT being VIP style...There's a few things on VIP cars that I don't like. Does that make them NOT VIP style?

The chrome pillars look sick on White cars that have huge dish wheels, but they don't look good on ALL VIP's.  Use your own descretion and if you like it F everyone else.  GL.

I think they freshin up your car a bit. Makes it look clean w/o clutter. Now you just need a hot chick up against them!

maybe if you had the chrome tint it'd flow better? 
 
i like black tint myself so i'd just want the pillars black.

They look good on your car but I wouldn't use them on my car.

One of my favorite GS's, Lovin the Chrome door handles & Pillars.
Cant wait to see them on the Scaras.

idk.  i check back on this thread and keep looking at them to see if they 'grow on me' and i think they look alright.  i think what throws them off are the wind deflector things on the doors.  with those removed, they'd blend well.  

but i have to ask..  looks like you've got a little 'agricultural' setup in your garage, eh?  i'm curious what's behind that aluminum foil under the ultraviolent grow lights.  :coolugh:

This was a model home so the garage was an office...which explains the crown moulding and it also means it has its own AC unit for the garage...how many peeps get to work on their ride in the garage in air conditioning? :biggthumpup:
