Tail light mod w/ molding

[SIZE="3"]thought i'll try this with the tails, since i've done my HL prior. the material is a 1/8 karome molding. anything thicker/wider than 1/8 will be tough to go around sharp/tight corners.
if i want to change up, its easy to remove it.

no doubt marcus, the FJ hasnt moved a bit. lol. i'll put it up for sale, and prolly get another LEXUS. theres a silver 2002 LS430 that im looking at, but im open game for anything that may come up. ;)

i knew kinda what you were talkin about and i was ready to clown, but that s**t looks GOOD! craftmanship is a1.

I dont like it. Maybe if you removed the two vertical pieces (between the trunk lamp and the fender lamp) it would look better IMO.

yeah, i was really debating on not to do the two inner vert molding. it may look less "busy" if i take them out. thanks thou.

i say take it off.  A black car suppose to look tough.  It looks soft with those chrome light linings.  The chrome trunk lid trim alone is enough.  Dont over do it.

Looks good but I would just keep it around the lights and not on the lights.  I had that on my tinted tails but I got bored of it in a month and removed it.  I have this stuff on my side door moldings and looks good although mine is worn out, I need to redo it.  Most people think the car came stock with that chrome, when they do I take that as a compliment.

i was opt. to do the same for my pillars too. ive seen some on ebay, but not sure of the quality. is yurs a chrome metal plate covering, or chrome type tape?

Mine are chrome metal. I didnt get them on ebay though. The ones on ebay are not the best quality from what I have seen in person.
