I finally got my Q!!!

I haven't posted much cause I did not even own something close to being VIP, but now I do! I picked up a bone stock, one owner, Silver 1999 Q45 with cream leather interior and it is mint!!! I can't believe I finally have one. I've always wanted to build a VIP Car and I can't wait to get started. I'll put up a couple of pics when I get a chance...

YEP! Cause they have to be programmed!
It's worth it though, I once locked my keys in the car
while the car was on!
:pat: Thank God for AAA!

Thats weird, cause when my key is in the ignition, and i accidently lock it, the lock would pop back open asap. Never tired it with the car running tho.

P.S.
But i would make sense for it to lock so i take that back..hahaha

It's a little on bouncy side compared to stock, but still a great ride. Most of the bounce is most likley attibuted to the high sidewall tires still on and that the coilovers are set at the softest setting. I still want to feel it out see what I prefer. So I'll mess with the settings as the days go by. I'm hoping that once I get my rims and tires put on it will raise the body overall about an 1" - 1 1/2" higher. The stock lip already scrapes on minor dips. I was amazed that even with the car off the ground there is a huge difference in suspension height.

Note the distance from the chrome molding to the center of the spindle. I was also shocked to see that it can still be set lower, about 2 inches lower all around maybe more. Overall I'm very happy with the results. At least now it looks like my car and not my dad's!

I talked them down to $9400 even. If you really look around and are willing to go a 300 mile radius you can find a decent one for the same price. I initially only wanted to find a car in SoCal or Las Vegas area, then I figured 300 miles is 300 miles and I found this one in AZ. Be wary of people telling you the car is perfect. I had a seller set up in Vegas that said the car was "immaculate" and the car was far from it. He wanted $10,500 and wouldn't budge. A ripped seat and hits to the bumper front and rear to me is far from perfect. Then he tried to 'song and dance' me with "well you can't avoid wear and tear" I told him he could keep his car. I've heard that if a salvage title doesn't bother you, you could pick up one for 3 G's. Just check what your willing to deal with.
