only $13k?
yep!! dirty cheap. And thats CDN $$$ so its slightly less in USD right now. I should mention we can import cars that are 15 yrs or older with no problems. I've read its a lot more difficult in the US to import cars and register them legally.

Omg i see kranze droolacopter :D. Damn Why oh why can't we get canada rules i swear its depressing to see all them cars and knowing that you can't do a damn thing or pay enough to import one first we could get skylines now we cant get anything us sucks sometimes. ohh and add this to the pot
Ew, I like Presidents but I don't like that one. Massive gap under grille, poorly fitted front bumper, I hate the shaved trunk (I like the stock garnish)... this one's not doin' it for me lol

I like the stock bodied Presidents maybe more than with a kit
most people in Canada are skyline this and that. I see r32 Skylines almost daily. Very few people have imported VIP cars. It just hasn't caught on yet. A couple of badass laurels but with more of a sporty feel.
and just like that it sold!! Someone got a badass VIPcar
and just like that it sold!! Someone got a badass VIPcar
what sold? but doesn jspec imports cars all over the world though? So it might have went to a different country all together.
Wasn't us unfortunatley, was purchased I believe by a local buyer in Japan. Stuff like that dserves to be making its way around the world though :( Ben Lippa J-Spec Imports

If we're posting up some dream imports, please tell me that you have seen this Cima: Every angle is perfect :smitten:

That ls430 is hott. I think it is a little odd that they put a mirror finish on the inside of the rear glass... What's the story with that?
I think its so people on the outside of the car can see the stereo system. The black circle isn't a relfection, its where the glass isnt tinted.
Uhh, no, you can clearly see the speaker grilles' badges reflected. Looks like mirror tint, reversed, so you can't see out. I'd hate to parallel park that though :D

If a vehicle is registered in Canada, can you bring it to America? Or would the DMV not allow it to be registered? I would figure that in Canada imported cars need to have a VIN number?

But I guess it still falls under imported regulations even if its from Canada. :-\
I'm not quite sure what the rules are for you guys. We basically have a list of cars that are "admissable" and we can bring in from the US or abroad. Pretty much if the equivalent is sold in Canada, then its allowed to be imported. If they are not on the list, they must be 15 years or older to be excempt.
Pretty much if the equivalent is sold in Canada, then its allowed to be imported.
Seriously? That would mean say, a Cima would be legal?
The short, short version is that for a car to come from Canada to the US it must be on the approved list, so all RHD stuff is not eligible, RHD European cars in Japan usually can come to the US (and often it doesn't have to even be via Canada) but that's about it. Sometimes we see US-spec cars in Japan (such as these two): http://www.j-specimports.ca/list/3277 http://www.j-specimports.ca/list/4721 Since these cars are in fact US cars they meet all of the safety standards and can come direct to the US, and this would include most LHD Japanese cars in Japan (since they will most likely be US-spec) of any year, but these aren't that common. I meant that if the same car is sold in the US and Canada, Canadians can import the same car from the US. When in doubt refer to the list of eligible cars for import from the US to Canada.
