What to do with a gray leather.

It happened again!! After my GS I SWORE i'd never get a car with a gray interior and due to circumstances I always end up with a gray interior :pat: It's happened to both my jeeps and now this!

I'm going to wrap the dash/pillars/headliner in automotive ultra suede and do a 2 tone interior with stitched inserts in the doors and seats. The question is which 2 colors. Nothing really goes well with gray.

Here's my ideas:

headliner/pillars/dash/consol/door inserts/seats - Black
Everything else - Gray

Thats kinda boring though and no matter how sweet it looks it would look sweeter in a diffirent color. So then I think:

headliner/pillars/dash/consol/door inserts/seats - Black
Everything else - Red

I'd really hard to work the gray. I don't think i've ever seen a "cool" gray interior. What should I do here?

I'd do like you said and add some black into the mix. Maybe with Alcantara. That would be pimp.

Ya its Automotive alcantara suede (like I had from the factory in my IS) Do you think that gray and black can really be a sweet dynamic color? If I threw a 3rd color in for the stitching. what would it be? Could I get away with 2 shades of gray would that be cooL?

I think it would look nice with 2 shades of Grey one darker then the other.

I'm also thinking about trying something like black and white highlights with red as the base color for the seats. I guess i'm going to have to put some stuff together and take pics.

I would think Gray and Black would be a nice combo. Black floormats, maybe black wood or onyx dash. It CAN be done, just get all the small details in.

I just thought about it and I'm also clueless on what to do with my grey interior.I was thinking about redoing the interior in all black leather and suade.but can the dash and other plastic trim be died black.and what about the seat belts.I'm not sure if 1st gen GS3's came with black interior so can I use seat belts from a 2nd gen GS?

I like the grey leather with grey alcantara/grey suede inserts in the doors and on the seats. I think some SVT fords have it... the two tone grey could look sick!
