jag bodykits

does anyone know where i can find a body kit for a 91 vanden plas? ive been searching on the web.

talk to elpresidente he will know if there is anything on the market. However, what i would do is get the suspension and wheels setup first so that thing is riding low... then you wont need a kit.

suspension is already on the way because i have to get the cancellation for the self-leveling system, and the guy who is helping me do that is gonna help me find some wheels too.

Ahh, the wonderful self leveling system..haha.  It's not that big a deal though.  What are you doing suspension wise?  If you decide later to go airsus let me know, I can help you out.  Give me the specifics of your Jag. Year/model/trim:

as of right now im just doing the cancellation on the self leveling system and getting brand new blistein shocks for the back( or maybe all around. idr what the guy told me. it was gonna be $400)

Do you have the round lights or the squares?  Is that what you're referring to?

yes, i have the square ones.

You can retrofit to the rounds if you want, you just have to splice all the wires or find a conversion kit like this one:

That's it alright.  "Jaguar Sport" is the same as TWR, wonder if that explains his windshield?  I have some pics of another TWR modded bumper:

is that a 91 vdp? what twr?

TWR is the name of the bodykit.  I know of a few places that still sell it.  One of them sells a reproduction of it.  But most guys in Japan have customized it with molding on sections of other bumpers and using other fogs.

It's an XJ40 for sure (like yours), but not sure which model.  I don't know all the differences other than the lights and motors.  If it looks like yours then chances are yes...haha.

Jeez jag guys too bad about your PCD's. Let's see 91-03 XJ was 5x120.7 (5x4.75) and 04+ it switched to 5x108 (5x4.25)

91-03 has a mid offset 15-25. But damn finding wheels for that is going to be a little bit of a hunt.

There's more wheels out there than you think..and from companies who produce wheels used by the VIP community.  Not only that but you can always use adapters which are readily available if there's a certain wheel you just HAVE to have that doesn't come in your bolt pattern.

It's actually 120.65 to be exact. which is the same as some domestic cars..but that usually spells disaster in wheel selection..haha.  The 5x108 makes sense since it's generally a Ford PCD and Jaguar has been owned by Ford since about 1990, but not until the mid 90's were cars produced in the US from what I know.  (My 96' Vanden Plas was still produced at the Coventry factory in the UK)

They also can run S-Low disk front and rear.

As far as the kit:

They're in the UK, but are basically one of the ONLY places to still be able to get this style kit since the original is out of production.

As far as the wheels, PM me..I could go on for forever..haha.

BTW, they also do the Phoenix Conversion which is a facelift to the newer XJ's..but kind of pricey.

Yes, they do.   Only after 03' did they change the XJ8 and XJR to 5x108.
