A co-worker need sizing help on a IS300...

He's going really weak and i need to push him to a more aggressive set-up

Could he run a 18x8.5 et25 front
18x9.5 et25 rear?

What backpad totally clears calipers? It doesnt have to be hella aggressive, just keep hi maway from 18x8 et35 all around.

thanks guys!

this is my first is300 with 17x8 +44 volk av3s. 18x8 +35 is actually farely agressive for is300s but you can obviously fit bigger with agressive camber and what not. 18x9.5et25 would be pretty much impossible without flares.

If he wanted to run 18x8.5 in front he would need 45 offset and a 55 offest in the rear to run 18x9.5.

I'm currently running 17x8 +32 all around, and the front actually pokes a little, but the rear tucks in. IMO the perfect setup on an IS is 18x8.5 +35 front and 18x9.5 +45 to +38 rear (depending on how aggressive you want).

Yeah, I have some pictures, but my car is monster trucking right now... Coilovers will be on within the week. Once its slammed the front should tuck in pretty perfectly, and I'll probably throw a 10-15mm spacer at the rear to even it out... Anyways, hope these pictures help.

A friend of mine works for Touge Factory/Stance USA, so he got me a deal on some Stance coilovers... They're not the greatest, but they go real low

To be honest, I've riden in one or two other cars with these coilovers, and I wasn't impressed, but I love these coilovers. The ride is firm, but smooth, and the car just feels great. Install was a bitch, but I don't have the best tools, so I expected that.

I doubt I can get another deal on a set, because he was just giving me a discount since I'm a good friend, but they're only $1295 msrp.
