New BIPPU Member from Canada's EAST COAST!

Just wanted to make my intro here!
My name is Brian and I reside in Montreal. (Hockey fan? GO HABS GO!) :smiley: 

I don't currently own a VIP platform, but I've flirted with the idea for awhile now. I drive an S13 that's done up for the summer daily drive. (I'll post pics of my Scarlett below!) Some of you might know how much snow Montreal gets. We're not so lucky as the milder West Coast and no we don't get as cold as Winterpeg... but we're KING OF SNOW when it comes to major cities. My room is on the ground floor, and some winter snow can effectively block my entire room window!!!

As such, I'm in need of a winter vehicle that isn't so low. I'm also stepping into the vending business and need a vehicle with more cargo capacity. I've decided on the EGG Previa/Estima. In my area they are a rare breed. mostly 91-93's going for about 1000-1500 easily with 200,000K on the odo (That's metric km). Most I've seen have minor rust around the fenders. So now comes the hard part. Picking the right one.

I've already found some wheels that a local buyer will let go for SUPER CHEAP. They're Giovanna Barletta's @ 18x8.

They look identical to, or very similar to the AIR RUNNER demo estima.

Can anyone confirm this?

The seller is letting the wheels go for $600 with the tires. 

Anyways, that's my intro. Up here, there's barely a scene for VIP and we're always behind the rest of America (Drifting just got mainstream) and I definitely look forward to pushing the envelope on my Estima and trailblazing the scene here.

Welcome. If you like that style then go ahead and buy them. My opinion is that there are better wheels out there for the Previa

I scrapped the Estima route because I landed a gem of a deal on a '93 Mazda 929 HD. Low kms. Driven rarely. Great mechanical condition. Cost me a lowly 1k.

Stock for now!

I'm going to focus on the interior primarily and work my way out the full BIPPU mile! Updates as they become available!

I landed on this gem as a necessity. I couldn't drive my S13 in the winter so I picked this rare thang up back in November for a cool $1000.

All in all it was VERY clean inside and out... save for some small dings and a few bumper scrapes that aren't entirely evident

I've always loved the long body/sleek line almost Jaguar-esque look of this car. Especially for something from the early 90's.

OEM wheels are fantastic for winter tires.

But 15x6.5 +50 is like a hybrid car... sure it does the job and you might save some gas... but they're butt ugly... so WHY!?
Stockers had to go for spring/summer! [I]At least they're manufactured by Enkei[/I]! :run:
 
My original intention was to pick up some Mazda 6 rims for like $400 and save up for better wheels next year.This past weekend I saw a deal I couldn't refuse.

I know I know.. it needs a MAJOR drop... but ask me again when you find ANYTHING to lower this car short of cutting springs.

At stock height it sits pretty damn flush with some weird toe-in in the rears I noticed only after these wheels were put on
