New headliner, a pillars, b pillars and c pillars... suede yummy!

Finally after 3ish months I got my interior back... can't complain too much though he did a great job, and the price was right :)...

I think i've unofficially decided to keep the car, i dunno i keep changing my mind.. the interior is sooo nice now.. haha

The sunvisors and sunroof weren't done on purpose, they will be changed in the future and would of had to be redone.

Enjoy:

I love the way suede smells...

But to answer your question, no.. the only smell was the glue used... but it went away pretty quick. Now it just smells like squash.... :-)

The guy who did it owns an interior shop (Custom Interiors by Stitch) He does a lot of pro ball players cars and such, but he owed me a favor and gave me a hook up. If you were to have it done by a reputable shop it'd probably cost anywhere from $800-$1500 Depending on the car and material.

eh, honestly, i havent made an imperfection yet. I did my entire center console (tok it apart and recovered it all) a/c pillar and back deck

just takes time, but i have an entire 60.00 in materials and 4 hours labor becuase of the back seat removal and reinstall.

just a though for the future interior redoers out there.

Yea true.. If i were decideing if i should pay retail or diy i'd more than likely diy. However, I paid less than what you have in yours to get mine done, so uhhhh yea I'm lazy haha. Then again that was only becuase he owed me a favor, so it's not like i can always get that hook up.

Looks good, I like Grant have done my own interiors. I've re-done the entire interior before as well in my Z. I re-did it in many different fabrics: Leather, suede, ultra-suede, vinyl, etc. It just takes patience and a little ingenuity. But it's no where near impossible.

Check out monopolizedinc's car... he just dyed his trim pieces black, he also redid the headliner and pillars in black.

If i was gonna dye the stuff black i woulda went with black suede. I with with light grey cause it matches so well.

Yeah, but suede would show imperfections a LOT more than fur...
