Decision between two Y33's???

Ok, Ultimately I will make my own decision and it will obviously be based on my own preference, however,  I wanted to gauge everyone's opinion based on their knowldege and preferences about the y33.
 
I have two cars I am looking into purchasing and I can't decide which one would be best.  First, I will be doing suspension and Wheels ASAP, but I'm not sure how long it will take after that before I am able to kit it etc....The car also has to be daily driven for work so it has to be somewhat presentable.
 
 
 
1st car.  silver 97 with slight rear bumper damage, Odometer doesn't work(but milage and records seem to match up) with about 115K miles, some nice interior upgrades like suede headliner, and black leather interior with dark wood.
 
 
2nd car.  White 99 with HIDs, 127K miles, black leather interior in excellent shape, light wood trim, but it is about 1K dollars more.
 
 
Now I like the HIDS obviously, but I like the trunk better on the 97.  The mileage is slightly higher on the white one but I can see it and drive it in person.  The other one is out of State,... but I trust the seller.  I also like the white color better, but the silver one comes with some front coils and is cheaper.  I would also need to do a minor repair to the rear bumper on the silver one but I really like the suede wrapped interior?
 
 
Help with the Pros and Cons and any info you can give in terms of the 97-98's compared to the 99+ models and their quirks.  Thanks all in advance

depends how much they're asking for either.

Personally I wouldn't buy either simply because I like Black on Black with the burled wood and Touring editions..

Just be patient and get one that you're completely happy with all together.

I say the silver one. I've always been a fan of the 4-piece tails. OEM hid's are nice, but you can always get some plug and play kit cheap, or even save the money and get some Cima D2R housings and ballasts if its that necessary to have oem hids. Rear bumper damage on the 97 shouldn't cost much to repair/repaint or even replace, and when you do, you could probably have the bottom of the bumper painted if it hasn't been done so already. I say go for the silver, becuase Chris is a cool guy and he's throwing in some front coils already installed which are hard to come by. :smiley:

yeah same here go for the silver!

But the HIDS and the updated interior would look cool. Damn glad I am looking at an LS just have to decide which 2 tone to go for.....

OEM HIDs arn't all that great!
If you go w/ the Cima clear housing and add aftermarket HIDs it'll be brighter and look better than the OEM HIDs. I plan on upgrading my OEM HIDs in the near future! And yea, alot more people prefer the older year taillights over the 99+. I just wanted to be different from everybody else and get the model that nobody really had......

Yeah, I'm just not loving the silver...and the white looks so pimp-o-licious.....

Can anyone verify for me? Did they even make white on black leather from the factory? Ive only seen one for sale ever and it was salvaged and I was thinking it had a swapped interior

It is in fact factory white with black interior....Thats why it is so hard of a decision for me. The silver one is a great deal and the suede interior is sweet, but I just can't get over the white with black.......AGGGGHHHHH

Damn, if I could find a white with black id buy it without hesitating!  But my 97 silver one ahs grown on me quite a bit.

I would rather start off w/ a car i can test drive and not have to repair. Suede interior included, nice. White car w/ wht curtains and black interior= clean. Silver is pretty common as well.:thelaw:

damn white/black is sexy...99 dash is different also...comes with the analog clock and rear power sunshade is standard i believe...anyways...if i had a choice, i'd get a '95 S500
