legend wheel fitment

Was wondering what the widest i can go and what good tires size to run

looking at either 17inch and 18inch.

Looking at running 17x8f wit 44 offset on 215/40 and 17x9 wit 44offset on 225/40

Cut the offset in at least half.

If you're forseeing fitment problems, why bother with a 9 in the rear?

found a good deal on a set of wheels that size. btw when you mean cut in half meaning i have to go wit a higher or can go with a lower off set. sorry a lil slow on under standing. Just want to know if that fitment is going to work on the legend.

your gonna need a lower offset if you're going for a nice lip/tight fitment. that usually means narrow widths on fwd. those MIGHT work, but won't have the look that most of the cars on this site go for.

9" with a +44 will prob rub the fender even if it's rolled. An 8" with +45 will just clear without rolling, so I'm thinking the extra 14mm even with a stretch may be too far out.....

44 / 2 = 22

Which is around the offset I think you should be looking at for a pretty tight fitting 8" wheel.
0 to 15mm offsets would be an aggressive fit, that maybe won't fit under stock fenders.
