Pick my paintjob! (W126)

Ok the car is black right now. The paint is peeling and messed up. It's going to be resprayed with a kit and shaved door handles. I have the wheels already (silver MAE crown jewels) 

This is what the car looks like (for reference, mine has gray tails, euro headlights, gray corners)

Now I WAS going to go with black. But then I really thought about it and honestly i've had way too many black cars, hell the last black car I had a repainted! 

I want to do a classic color like black/white/silver. Except I don't want to paint it white... or black. The interior is maroon and black. I think silver and maroon would be a very sweet combo. It reminds me of the old gullwing SL's.

Now when I say silver i'm talking mercury metallic. The bright liquid metal silver that lexus is putting on thier cars recently.

What do you guys think?

So you want to do two tone??? Please explain it more. The bottom is going to be mercury metallic and the top is going to be maroon. I like black. =p

EEEww no 2-tone haha. Either I want to paint the exterior black or mecury metallic. The interior of the car is maroon (leather) and black (suede)

i love black on black on black on black. but i can feel the dark silver with the all maroon interior.

How about Lexus Black Sapphire, which appears black in the shade or at night
but turns midnight blue in the sunshine. Stunning color.

Black on a 126 car? Yawn.

Thanks for all the imput! I'm actually going to go with "Blue Granite Metallic" it's a VW color found on the new passats. It looks like deep black from far away but up close the color comes alive.
