alright i finally learned how to post pics and heres my 94 gs300.its no way near VIP style yet but i figure i'll post these up as a before and after pics of each mod i do.like a progress report.hopefully by the end of the month it should be bagged and then i'll post pics and so on.

get some 20 mil spacers for the rears and fronts and you will not believe how different the car will look. The offset on those wheels is +50. Change it to a 30 and you'll see the difference...BIG difference. How I know? Cos I have them too! =]
Will be getting some 19 pretty soon, but 4reals, do this and you wil not believe the change.

^^my friends told me the same but I don't wanna waste any money.cuz after my car is bagged I'm gonna order some 19's shortly after so I would have no use for the spacers later on.good idea but thanks.

Damn that looks really good. Ive been contemplating getting a 1st gen GS for a dd but I know id end up throwing all kinds of money into it.

And here's the tank and compresser.I was going to use a pancake tank and hide everything but I decided to do it when I redo the whole trunk.

pure hotness.

At my ride height which is 90psi front and 65psi rear,it rides almost like stock but a bit stiffer.even at 140psi front & rear it isn't bouncy.I have no complaints.I'd recommend UAS to anyone.

And the wheels I plan on getting is
AME Shallen LX 
19X9 +16 front
19X10 +10 rear

You must be the only GS on maui with bags on their ride. Nice setup.

fitment looks sweet, maybe roll and pull that rear guard edge a tad more with tyres though i guess.
 
will watch with anticipation, the local forum i go on for AU is actually all 147s/1st gen, i am the only person on there with a 2nd gen, so i need some good 1st gen to show them how its done!
 
their idea of fitment = 18x8.5 & 18x9.5 with +36-42 offset. :pat: they call me crazy for suggesting 20-25 offsets and 19s ... sheesh haha

what grit did you use ?

I first used and electric sander with 80 grit,then 320 and then I went by hand with 600,1000,2000 and lastly 3000.it took me about 2 hours to finish them.

some of you who have been keeping track on my build should know i wanted to have my window trims chromed.but i didnt have to send it out to get them done.i tried something out today.

i later then sanded it to make them more smooth and free from emperfections sorry no pic again.
used some mag polish

very nice work, thats a practical way around it. You could have maybe used some chrome paint but i really dont know how well that stuff comes out as i have never used it myself.
 
at least you know too that it will all fit back together okay and wont be any thicker or anything due to it having a layer of chrome or paint on it.
 
i really need to get me some power tools e.g. a good drill and some sanding and polishing wheels..!

i go on there because it is pretty much the only aristo/JZ site in AU, but i think i am the only one on there with a 2GS, they're all 1st Gens. 
 
no-one is very big into aggressive VIP styles, although 'Slain' off these forums is on there a bit and his car is pretty well VIP. I try to talk them into more aggressive offsets etc on there haha
 
but AUS is more into power so a lot of those guys are moreso trying to do engine mods etc i think rather than a lot of exterior work (aside from maybe some 18s or 19s with +30plus offsets). 
 
i dont bother with power cause mine is non turbo but theirs are all import 2JZ-GTE

1.all we did was shave off 3/4 of the fender lip.no pulling.

thanks!but the fittment is only great with the spacers.:pat:i wish i could've oreded my wheels with the perfect offsets.i kinda feel like its cheating with spacers.oh well:shrug: i now know what specs i need for my next set.:giggity:

thanks man!i was planning on refinishing the Lock Smice's "mesh".i was gonna sand off the paint on the face and polish them to a mirror finish and leave the windows silver.but a friend is gonna buy them so i wont touch it.
