New Here!!!!!

Hi. New here and from Tampa Fl. Just picked up this Lexus LS400 the other day for $500. Apparently the previous owner said it had rod knock and didnt want to deal with it, but the good thing is when i got it and took it back to my shop i hooked a battery up to it and found out it was not a rod knock but a bad water pump!!! So i think its a good buy!

Hahaha, I love finding deals like that.  I bought a car that the owner thought had a blown motor...all it had was a BLOWN FUSE.  Haha..needless to say I had it driving around town that same day.  What you got planned for the LS?

Rims, lip kit, suspension right now.

locally here, they sell them for about $5000+ 

im soo confused...I would buy one in the USA and import it here to Canada...where can I find one? help, no seroius...I would buy one :)

The guy selling mine was like 'it has rod knock and i dont deal with imports and mainly deal with domestics. Plus the parts are so expensive for it too, so i let it sit here for 2 years and now i want driveway space so im selling it for 500.' He took some pics to show me, once i saw them the next day i drove from Tampa to Jacksonville to pick it up. Once i got back took it to my shop and hooked a battery to it and had like 6 six other people around the car to see if they hear anything and NOTHING! No rod knock just a sound coming from the water pump. So all in all i made out!!
