Test fit: AME Shallen LX's on my UCF10

So I was kinda bored on my day off from work so I decided to test fit some AME Shallen LX's I picked up about a week ago from QoozyFoozy...

So... Now I'm just waiting on my JIC's I bought from |crash|, then i'll get some tires and figure out how to shoehorn these things into my fenders. I know Im going to need a Roll and pull. Anyone know what the max camber is I can get out of stock suspension components?
 
btw wheels specs are:
19x9.5 +16 Super low disk
19x10 +10 Super low disk
 
Planning on stretching 225-35-19's and 235-35-19's

you can get about 4.8-5 degrees of camber in the rear. 

since the fronts are superlow disk, did you have to add a small spacer?

Actually no I didnt have to add a spacer, I was surprised because I bought the wheels assuming I'd need at least a 5mm spacer, but they clear the calipers by about 2-3mm. Probably because the 90-92's have smaller brakes. I remember you saying you had to use a 5mm on your setup so thats why I assumed I'd need at least that.

Thanks :smiley: Eventually after I put them on (probably in about a month or 2), finish my stereo setup, then get the Wald Executive kit but with a Duce front lip. After that, I'll be broke for a long while... and then I'll decide whats next lol :shrug:

shouldn't be too hard to fit.  looks about the same fitment as my friend's ucf10.  he pulled rears, maxed camber in the rear and stretched the tires.  its actually lower now and closer to tsuraichi cuz he put 225's in the rear and 215 in the front.

You shouldnt even need to pull if anything. With a cut and enough camber you can fit those  specs.

Beangrower: Did your friend have to modify the front fenders beyond just rolling them and cambering the wheels? No pull, just roll in front?

Aw man I'm so jealous.those are my favorite rims that I plan to get.and those are the exact specs I was gonna run,well,try to run.looks damn good on a ucf10.can't wait to see it with some tires.how big is the lip on the rear rims?

The rear lip is pretty fatty, I can almost fit my whole hand in the lip :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

front fender is stock...untouched.  no roll, no pull.  jus streeeetcched tires.

camber, stretch and shave is all you would need, I don't think you'll need a pull.

the front looks pretty easy to fit from your pics.

That white UCF above, what kind of tires are those? Are those the Falken FK's? Im looking for a nice tire to stretch, I wanted Falkens because the sidewalls look perfect when stretched, but i've heard of problems with the FK's... I'm thinking about Federals, but Falken sidewalls still look the best imo, i just dont want to deal with the hassle of bubbles in the sidewalls like a few people on this forum had happen to them...

just about all of today's tire brands have the same stretch as the falken fk 452.

it's just that the older falken st115 (or fk451, I forget the model name) ran smaller than what it was sized-labeled.

your 225 35 19 and 235 35 19 should give u a very nice stretch. I run sumitmo htrzII and so far so good, very quiet.

Wow, I can't wait to see this once you get everything on. Black, JIC's, AME, and kit. Whew it's gonna look good. I am a former 240sx guy too and have now moved on to the Y33, I definately miss the speed but the sacrifice for luxury and pimpness of VIP is all worth it. I could never go back!!! :biggthumpup:

Yea, she will be missed... but i'm over the whole drifting/racing scene... at least for now... :dance:

Like beangrower said, no roll, no pull, no cut up front.  Front fenders are stock.  I just stretched a 215 on a 9.5 though, and it looks crazy!  The front sits a lot lower now too.  I went with General tires.  Looks and stretches the same as the 452s.  Cheap, stretches nicely, and quiet.  I moved my 225s front the front to the rear on a 10.  Sits a little lower, but dunlop sportmaxx's have a rim gaurd that I just can't get my fenders to go over.  I will probably be stretching a general 225 on a 10 real soon.

i def. remember that s14 and im about ready to sell mine too, and pick up something like a ucf10 cuz that white one is giving me wet dreams already haha. its between this and a q45, just which ever one gets closer to 500mi/tank and i can get my hands on first quickly

LOL 500 miles a tank in a UCF10? good luck! If i push it, I can get 350 a tank if its all highway. From Riverside California to Vegas and back I got approx. 350ish.
 
I like Q45's too, they can fit rediculously low offset wheels :biggthumpup:

350ish? you need to do a tune up pal. on my ls400, i got 450 highway. that was with 176k miles and a new o2 sensor.

Hmm... already did a tuneup. 
 
Oh I forgot, maybe its because I deleted my EGR and have a heavy foot :sad:
 
 
EDIT: After some researching, I realize I'm not using about 6 gallons of gas every fill up. On average to fill up it takes me 17ish gallons. I dont know why I always assumed our tanks were 18 gallons instead of 22 :pat:

i def made sure i got some spec b4 i said anything; haha. and the ls400 is looking like an option that i should be considering more and more everyday, but the Q like you said, can fit lower offsets. hmmmm lower offset.
