Abandoned '01 GSX600F

I have this bike sitting at my house. It was an old tennant's. He left to Ohio to take care of his mom and he told my mom that he didn't want the bike because it was under his ex wife. His ex wife never came and got it. Nor do I even think she cares about it. Let's get down to the point. How do I claim this shit? :giggity:

just send her a bill of sale fill out the form and have her sign it (the ex wife) thats it. just write $1 for the purchase price. but hopefully its paid off already though, if not your fucked theyll repo that shit and you cant even register it under your name till its paid off. so ask if the bike has been paid off

....and let me ride it :)

nah man, put a lien on it. If she doesn't claim it, then it's all yours for free.

you can apply for an abandoned vehicle title and just pay a bond on it. simple. shouldn't cost more than $100. a letter gets sent to the owner's address that's registered to the DMV, and if there is no reply within 15 days, they process the paperwork for you and send a new title. it's not a salvage title or anything. you probably have to take the bike to be inspected first, though.. fuck it though. cops aint gonna catch you on a bike if you dip.

BOSOZOKU- The conversion actually cost more but 1k is all I need to get it.

I didn't find a link for just a regular lien..I've only found stuff on lien sales. Can someone shoot me a link for what I need? This was the whole situation to start off with.
The guy that left it here moved to ohio to take care of his mom. He was pretty legit. He was a tennant that lived at my house.
He said he couldnt take the bike. He had a stang and all his shit packed in it and he had one leg (no offense).
He also said file it for abandonment later on because it was under his ex wife's name (he hated her) and i'm pretty sure she doesn't want the bike any more from what he said and for how long it was gone for. I don't even think she's in California from what I remember.
So what would I need? Suggestions please? It would be illigal if I sold it so it wouldnt hurt to file a claim at all...:runcoold:
