Garson panels.

anyone here try them out? I know not everything may work, but for my xB, I can get away with most of the stuff they offer. thanks to a very basic dash design. I called Garson USA 2 days ago and I still haven't heard back on pricing. So once again, The U.S. customer service has dropped the ball. No wonder I just keep going back to the source. Anyone have any other ideas? Was supposed to have an answer that night

what panels are you looking at... Garson USA takes forever. i had the same problem did you call them or email?

called them, Called Japan and they said call them. good thing I'm starting now. I may just get them by spring...<8-p

did youhave a hard time understanding them.. sometimes its safer to fax them the exact pics of what you want..

Jim. Just go through Sean (jdmpalace) - Luxury Bippu Style. He is an authorized vendor and goes directly through Japan. He also used to own the white xB with the Garson kit. And I have to agree. I asked for a quote on a kit and they didn't get back to me. One month passed by and I decided to try it again and finally received a quote. :pat: I'm sure they'll get better if we let them know whats going on.

Yeah, I sent an email to Freddy about getting some of the parts a couple of months ago. They aren't cheap, especially when you want more than just a few pieces.

panels ordered. another first in the country. now I need to recover the seats. Thru katzkin, lookin about $850 in black/tan with tan stitching.

Garson Japan renigged my order and refunded my money.  booooooo! said they don't wanna sell their big stuff to the U.S.  Said the dash is different. All I ordered were the symetrical parts. If the 1st gen dash fits our car, then their 2nd gen  parts will fit my car. working on this tonite. not gonna make it here if all they sell is air fresheners....

hmmm i wonder why they didnt sell it to u because I ordered one for a customer and it was shipped fine.  that sucks to hear they have nice pieces i got some speaker grill covers with the wood trim and they are sick =)  I hope your project goes well.

I think they might send you to Garson USA??? talked to Jason and thats what they told me that Japan will doing.. that any one that need to order from the USA will be directed through Garson USA.. 
 
i had a few members that just came back form Japan and went to Catctus.. i couldhave told them to bring it back for you..

I ordered thru Jason too. He said Japans side of things cancelled me. seems unlikely to me. doesn't make sense. He said Bodykits and all are on hold now for the U.S. market. I'm a little pissed

that sucks it dont make sence to me either.. No matter what I still can get the items bypassing garson USA..

In a way its better for the style... make it even harder to get and it wont be flooded..

well, there might two sides to the story. He was told to reasearch fitment to be sure I get what I want. He told he Japan cancelled the order. I knew it was a bit fishy. so I did my own research and I really know what I can and can't buy. measured dash and all.

thought I'd revive this for the moment. I got my parts a week ago...finally. Don't ash for pics as they are still wrapped in plastic, It's too cold here to work on the car and fit them in as I want to get all things done at one time. But here is what I got. Speedo ring, A-pillars and center dash vent covers in light oak. Unfortunate part is the vents covers came in the wrong color.I mean the shade of tan isn't even close. SO we're working it out for now. I hope to either copy the grain color or at least the shade. I'm committed now. I did do a rough fitment and the speedo ring fit really well and looks tight with my chrome accent and swarovski panel. the a-pillars look like they are a hair smaller. I'll have to work that out somehow, but no worries. The air vent pieces come flat and they have to be bent to contour the dash.

Hey guys, I know that I am really pretty much a newb here (as far as post go), but I've been talking to Jason since they started bringing stuff here, and I have to say he is a straight forward guy... It really is on the Japan side... alot of stuff is identical outwardly, but the mounting brackets and that are different. Initially tons of people were pissed because not everything fit. The reality is that it cost alot to ship, and thats the big thing, no one wants to eat the cost. Multiple orders on the company's side can add up quickly. I had to pretty much promise not to send my stuff back in order to get it... I ordered the rear gate wing and the grille and chrome Bonnet mole for the RA1... it all came with no problems...

same here. parts are mine to keep but Jason agreed that he can get me the right color. that was their mess up. Maybe they should make parts for usdm consumption?

I agree, they stated that they did not think they were ready for the US market, so this their first endeavor.... hopefully they dump some cash and bring a plant here..... Only makes sense

I am in the same boat. JDMJim. I wanted to order the Love Love seat II. but Garson USA told me that they arent test fitted for US xB, So I told him to hold off. Then I talked to the guy that did my wife interior and he said if it dont fit right he could fix it. So I called Garson and got a price qoute. I usually can talk to Jason and get all the info I need. Here is the # I use to get in touch with him. 310-533-1647. Try that and ask for Jason. Or you can always talk to Ben at SuperAutoBacs.

Got my stuff already. Just beware that the center panels need the JDM center dash panel. Very very subtle difference.  Bet know one even notices when it's changed.
