Previa Aero for LHD Models

I guess I screwed up & posted comments in the pic thread where it was supposed to be pics only so starting a new one:
 
What kits, if any, fit the LHD Previa models? If available, please post pics and retailers we can buy them from. If not, please detail what mods to the kit would be necessary to make them fit the USDM models

As long as it is the TCR10/11, it will fit. Though you'll have to be ok with cutting up the side moldings to get it to work. If not don't use them at all. Our vendors can get any of these products for you. If you have a problem, contact me and I will help the vendors find it.

Sowhats the deal with the side mouldings? I see our USDM models use the funky corrugated design and nearly every aftermarket aero kit uses a smooth design, is that the moulding you are referring to? How far off is it to modify? Should we stick to fiberglass for ease of mod or does the urethane stuff work easy also? I'm a sponge - fill me with knowledge.

Also, can anybody link us to some pics with TCR's that have only the front and rear bumpers installed?  Wondering if it would look passable...
 
You know, I'm really starting to get pissed at the British for f'ing this all up, since they're the reason Japan is RHD.  They did give us Kate Beckinsale, tho, so I'll let them slide for now.   ;)

The "smooth" door moldings are actually an aftermarket item.  Personally think that they look much better than the stock pieces.  With any body kit I think that it is worth spending a little more to get the door moldings.....imo it makes the kit look more complete.

As for just doing Front and Rear.......if you stand back and look at the EGG you will probally notice that both the stock front bumper and rear bumper are significantly lower that the "side skirt" section.  Full body kit of course is the best but if you were going to only buy "parts" of a kit I would say get the side skirts and door moldings.  I think that this will give you more of a balanced look and a lowered look as well.  IMHO.

yeah, looking at pics of stock eggs, it wouldn't look right w/o the sides.

Perhaps the sliding door is on the opposite side, thus causing the difference in side moldings?

Thats what I was guessing myself, but they dont look that far off so it may not be that big of a deal to make it work - I'd just like someone who has done it to speak up and say if it was worth it or not & what it entailed before I plunk down the ducketts

Here is an example of a right side skirt/door panel for an estima from yahoo auctions japan.

You will need to cut these,  separate the side skirt from the door panel to accomodate the previa's sliding door.  The door panel and side skirt will need additional fiberglass/body filler.

I've done the fiberglassing  but still working on the body filler part on my aero kit.  It's a work in progress but I will try to get pics.

Is it worth it?  I can't stand the stock previa's gray bumper & door panels so I think it's worth the hassle.

what kit is that off of, and how did you get it here?

The pic is from a Topline kit, I only used it as a reference.  I have a used aero kit from upgarage, manufacturer unknown.  It was bought from a SoCal vendor who I'd rather not name, as people have problems with them in the past.

Is the problem company on Ebay?

The vendor he bought it from is not welcome on this forum due to transactions he made on this forum without authorization. Lets stay on topic and worry less about that vendor.

I wish some vendors would post up all the shit they can get us for Previas...seems like there's a decent # of us on here that would be interested in dropping some coin
