Federal snow tires
OK guys, I got a huge screw in my tire and I need to take these wheels off for the coming season so I was wondering if anyone could give an opinion on the Federal Himalaya snow tires. I'm gunna put them on my factory 17's then in spring I think I'm gunna go with other tires for my good set of wheels or maybe even a whole new tire wheels set up.
Let me know what you guys think and if you have any on line stores that carry them shoot me a link please.
Thanks!

The Federal SS595 are cool and those winter tires look similar but let us know how they run. The cheaper Federals in my opinion are garbage though.

why?
explain why you say so?
super long life, if you break them in correctly, super traction
ss595s are the cheapest federals that you can get that will fit 18s and 19s
at a little over 100 a tire for 19s, its the cheapest and best IMO in the price class.
plus they stretch like a beauty

AHHHH, I need to know where I can get these damn things:smiley: I cant find them anywhere. Is there someone on line that sells the snow tires from Federal? I like most of the others they have to offer and will probably go with them in the spring. I found a few that deals with them but I cant find the snow tire! I think they are gorgeous snow tires! From what I have read up on ( my car sucks in the snow ) they are great snow tires for even the most aggressive sports car drivers.
And in a 215/40/17 maybe I think 45 they are well under 100$!

ss595 aren't the cheapest federals. I'm talking about their non-performance line. I tried the Federal Formoza just to see how they are. They run down quickly and traction is not that good with them. The 595s on the other hand were great. They might be the cheapest for a performance tire.
