Parking problems for Q owners.

Im just wondering, how the hell do you guys park your car in lots with it lowered?

Parking lots around here are short i dont know why.
I offten park real close up to the curb to the point my tires are touching the curb and my front bumper is taking up about half the sidewalk. And my Qs ASS is STILL sticking out.

Just imagine if it was lowerd and my bumper touch the curb rather then my tires.

Is it me or am i the only one with this problem in seattle? haha

I started parking in the street. Its not as safe and I have to walk alot further but atleast no one will ding up my doors. The F50 Q is even longer then the Y33 so I would have a problem in a packed parking lot. Even though im on air, my front doesnt go heigher then 3 inches off the ground at the full up height.

But if I have to park in a lot, I park it towards the back and I take up two spots on an angle

Backing is the easiest option for lots with parking blocks.

Man that's one thing so true about big long low cars my 240 is low but its ok if I stop a bit short in a spot because the car is smaller but with the Y33 there's no way to stop short and not stick out majorly.
I'm putting parking sensors to help out in the parallel department while my cars in the shop.
How many of you guys with kits have messed them up? Everyonce in awhile even the most careful driver makes a mistake!

Man, I dont even get my bumper to the curb at stock height. I havent been able to pull over a curb for 4 of the 5 years i have been driving and i dont really ever want to be able to. I back in most of the time and find the spots I can make more room with. ie next to dumpsters and such.

Backing in is just easier for me to get in tight spots and give me more room!
I always went over the curb or blocks before my kit but know I just don't even try and get that close! Sticking is only a slight risk! The Qs are big but not that big and unless somebody is stupid and comes to close to your car, you have nothing to worry about! I more worry about somebody snatching off my hood bonnet!

when i had my lincoln, that shit would stick out big time. couldnt park head first cuz the plastic spoiler/lip would scrape and couldnt back in cuz id scrape the exhaust pipes. so that shit would just stick right out. parking in lots that had the close lanes were a bitch to back out of. id be trying to do a 20 point turn just to back out of the spot without rear-ending the car behind me.

i ALWAYS back into my spot if im not at home
Its a japan thing i guess, but the only people you see pulling in normal are Kei cars. and even then, sometimes not.

I turn my music down and back up until i hear my exhaust hit. then i stop lol

unless I'm parking at home, I almost always back in.
Makes life WAY easier.

(Not a Q, but low/wide/low off wheels)
