Electric curtains, Solution? Maybe.

I ran across this site,

It has part #, pricing, etc.
for electric curtains for the
Celsior.

Check it out, anybody else ever seen this site?

wouldn't it be easier to draw it out and make it yourself, just a thought, it might cost less too

I guess we need to ask this: Can anyone find a place online, most likely in Japanese, where these can be purchased?

OR one could go the DIY route. :)

why don't you guys just use power antennae motors?

to the best of my knowledge they work on the same pricipal: push and pull.

think those things run on AAA batteries or the real car battery? cause that'd be an extra set of wires going all the way back

I think im going to give this mod a shot for the Q sometime this winter break.

Im going to be using a small antenna motor or power seat motors and some type of pully setup so i can hide the antenna motor where the sock subs sit.

And im thinking about rewiring the window lock button to open and close the curtains. This is going to be installed for the rear windows of course, i would do the sides but i have no idea where i would hide the motors.

Il keep you guys updated if i do tackle the mod.
