Student arrested for distracting police dog
A 15-year-old Okaloosa Academy Charter School student was arrested for offenses against a police dog after he “knowingly and maliciously” harassed a K-9 dog named Ruger.
According to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office report, the boy struck the side of the classroom portable with his hand in an attempt to distract Ruger while his handler was making a special presentation at the school.
The Crestview boy was arrested and released to his mother.

one instance where im glad to see the police fuckin some shit up! i hope his parents beat him with a sock full of pennies when they got him inside. my parents breed german shepherds for the police force, and i look foward to my visits because along with spending time with family, i get the opportunity to interact with these beautiful creatures, and its my firm belief that they dont deserve to be harrassed. harrass the cop with dumb questions if you must be an asshole but leave the dog alone.
edit: if my memory serves me correctly this is a school for kids who are fuck-ups to begin with. place oozes with cops and panic buttons so they already have a "1 stike and your ass is grass" policy. so its not like he didnt know that if he fucked around he'd get dealt with. stupid is=stupid does
