anyone have any info on how to do this or pictures of it done? from the inside?
If you have to ask man, its too much work. I have done it with my uncle on some of his drag cars and it is not a task to be taken lightly. If you are not prepared to rebuild 50% of the rear of your car, then think of it as a dream man! I would LOVE to do this to my y33, but I wouldnt have a car for a few months and I dont have any desire to do that kind of work to this car. It is not an undertaking for someone who isnt a professional fabricator.

I hear it all the time from people that dont want to go lower. Laying down cement isnt that hard or nearly as expensive in most cases compared to buying a high quality body kit and getting it painted. Back on topic. I love how nuts those guys are. That looks so gangsta and makes the wheels look bigger.
Not much you can do when you are as low as him... But yeah, i should probably look into fixing my driveway some time...

Weight can be a very big deterant for cutting and rewelding shock towers, I have seen them fail in a mk2 jetta and they were done pretty well. I would not ever want to do this with car that has a gigantic V8 in the front of it....
i dont think id have the balls to do it either but i have seen a cupl full size cars done that way.but they def were not dailys
