best way to clean lips?

i have a brake dust problem

a big one
what can i use to get this stuff off....like its stuck.

I know nothing about your car but use pads with a different compound that reduces brake dust. 
 
then while the rims r off, pressure wash and wax them :biggthumpup: 
 
I never use brake dust removing cleaners (too harsh on the finish) when I have used rims with caked on brake dust. I just use dawn dishwashing soap and let it soak for a lil bit....

I've use Tar Remover spray..

Let it soaked for a while and gently scrape it off. It's painful and slow, but it cleans.

The other night, i used a metal polish, to remove it by gently rubbiing (no scratches!!)
then i did eagle one never dull (<3 it)
and when i washed my car tonight, that spot came clean..so its working
the rest...not so much

so this weekend i know what im gonna do

the wax on the rear wheels however is holding up.
Im switching back to the Other GTR brakes and endless pads i have. they sqeak more, but stop better and have less dust. so yeah

I use a Mother's power ball attached to my drill with a product called Klasse AIO (all-in-one). I use it all over my car, it works on all surfaces. Google it and read about what it does. This is the type of shit that concourse classic car owners (the most meticulous people with their rides) use one their classic show cars. Get a couple coats of it on your lips when they're clean and it last around 6 months. Even the heaviest brake dust sprays right off with a hose.

Klasse AIO is a cleaner, and should be followed by a sealant for optiumum protection.

As far as your brake dust problem, try a tar remover spray, or even clay. Make sure you seal afterwards to avoid this problem in the future.

its actually a cleaner AND a polish. The kit comes with the sealant as a third component, but in a seperate bottle.

For something to be a polish, it has to contain abrasives.  AIO does not contain abrasives, therefore it cannot be technically called a "polish."  I understand that Klasse classifies it as a polish, but that is more of a marketing gimmick than anything (considering 95% of the population wouldn't know the difference between polish and wax anyways).  It would also not contain any "wax" because then Klasse SG would not be able to properly bond to the AIO.  Even if it was a polish, the original point was that AIO alone will not yield adequate protection; hence the need for a sealant afterwards.  It's a great cleaner (oxidation remover especially), but that's about its limitations; as a paint cleaner.

I personally hate Klasse SG (sealant glaze).  It's very hard to work with, and requires multiple layers for optimum protection.  I personally opt. for the FK1 2180 sealant (fk1usa.com).

maybe i'm mistaken, but don't some of those highend wheels have a clear coat over their polished lip (and face) ?  

if so, wouldn't something like never dull be a bad thing to use on em?

Yes.

Clearcoated wheels need to be treated the same as your car's paint. Neverdull is highly abrasive and would ruin your clear coat is used vigorously. I have buffed out neverdull "dulling" from cleacoated wheels on a customer's car, and it's a PITA!

so this stuff is cool for clear coat lips right? thats what it says in their website. after this what would be a good wax or sealant to to pit off with? how often do i use this stuff? thanks

Yos, I just use this stuff and that's it. No wax.:shrug:

it all depends on the finish of the wheels.  chrome, polished, powdercoated, painted, anodized clear,....

Use YOUR TOUNGE!!!!! 
 
I use invisible glass, turtle wax ICE, blue magic (the wax, not the the drug)
