My new system is up and running....(PICS)

It hits hard. I love it. Alot better than my single 15" Orion I had in my old Volvo. And I know you are going to rag on me because it's not a clean install but I really don't have the money to go nuts with a sick trunk layout. Hope you understand.

Here is my system:

- Factory Bose headunit.
- Clarion 6 Disc CD Changer.
- Factory Bose amp.
- Factory Bose door speakers and tweeters.
- Unhooked factory Bose rear deck midbass drivers (Will take out so I can port better into the cabin.
- HiLo convertor off the left rear mid bass driver wiring.
- Two Orion HCCA 12.2's in simple ported enclosure.
- Logic Soundlabs GSX-32DC Monoblock. Running 2ohms at 940W RMS.
- 4ga power and ground, 12ga Monster Cable speaker wire.

It's actually very quite outside with the windows up. But my trunk/rear quarters shake and rattle like crazy. Fantastic sound deadening.

BTW, I heart your Q.

Yes they do. But then again, my gain is not so high right now.

I think the pressure already blew out the rear midbass drivers. They pop when the subs drop low. That's ok though, they are comming out.

Yeah I'm sure that hits but as you already know it does need a cleanup shouldn't take much though the Q is too clean you definitely need the trunk to match it...just my 2 pennies

I was wondering if anyone would get that. After looking at that monsterous box I was imagining sitting in the car...good god!!! I can feel my pants and my hair vibrating already while my eyes squint at each bass note.

Yeah, I know. I just threw the box in quick after I was done. I'm not so picky about that right now. Plus it's allready loud as fuck. I have a really bad popping sound comming from the rear deck. It's either my third brake light hitting my rear window or it is one of the rear deck speakers that is getting pounded to oblivion.

u sure its not your subs distorting? remember, your gain knob is NOT a volume knob. its there to match the voltage being put out by your head unit. if your gain is too high, youll send a clipped signal to your speakers which WILL blow them.

Deffinatly not. The gain is about half way which is well with in the safe zone. I know how to tune set ups. It is something on the rear deck.

That would get stolen in a week in Winnipeg :(

I'm not putting anything back in my trunk until I finish my bolt-in install.

Looks like a lot of fun though!
