Questions about Air Runners

I wanted to find out if anyone on here is able to tell me about the Air Runner systems....

One question that I have is when you have the system installed can you still run sway bars on the car for better handling? Also, are there any down falls to the system?

Furthermore, how often do they need to be rebuilt and what are the signs other then leaking bags or lines.

Sorry about the winded thread but I need some quick answers and any suggestion if you have heard any negative experiences.

Generally, sways are removed for going lower or for pancake drop.

If you go low and do not place stress on the end links, you should be fine.

I finally bought the system this weekend with the electronic valves and monitor system with wireless remote. I was thinking about getting sways for it but maybe I will wait to see how it rides and I really dont plan on doing too many speed runs, but I always like to be sure that my car is stable in the corners.....but then again if I wanted the corner ability I should have gone the coilover route....I guess I was just trying to get the best of both worlds. 

I will be working on the wiring part of the electronics and mount the manifold and do as much as I can in a day and then mount up the struts and hook everything up the following week....and since it is my daily driver, I can't afford to have the car at the install shop unless it is absolutely necessary.

I will post up pics as soon as I finish installing everything.

Since I really am trying to get my car VIP Style, these are some of my first baby steps to fulfilling that dream.....next will be some VIP wheels, I hope.

good thing thing u got electric valves. manual valves are junk. one of the only downfalls w/ airrunner is pushlocks.

they are not push locks. there the ones you put the hoses in and screw them down with the other end of the fitting. good quality stuff. WAY better than pushlocks. 


i like my manual valves. theres nothing wrong with them. i like then better than the electric valves. im not the type to go fst anyhow. electric is all for show, if you ask me. :)

Airrunner uses compression fittings... little rings that tighten and clamp down on a hose as a fitting is tightened over them. Way better than push-to-connect fittings in many applications. Ideal setup would be to use some sort of pre-formed hoses, and flared fittings that seal against each other...sorta like brake lines. Those would be fool-proof and pretty much lifetime reliable
