Photo software

I was wondering what software some of you guys use to edit and enhance some of your photos?

I'm looking to not really photo chop, but enhance some attributes in the photos clarity and such.

Thanks.

CS has was a bit of a let down ..I have a Dual Xeon processor machine and had to download a patch for it to perform properly..Now the CS3 is awsome as you can actually build website layouts and directly import them to flash...that is just awsome in itself...

PShop CS2... I had 7 on my computer before the reformat, and I had no need to upgrade, but I had an opportunity to upgrade afterwards... wasn't much of a difference.
