Hmmm so after a bit of research I found out you are right... Sorta... 

The 02+ (Kouki) Y34 Gloria grille is interchangeable with the Y34 M45 in North America with no modification.

But the 99-01 (Zenki) Y34 Gloria grille is interchangeable but requires the JDM Zenki headlights.


Hmm so it looks like I have to sweeten the pot by adding a pair of headlights in the deal :giggity:


The Y34 M45 was not offered in Canada. Any in Canada were imported from US. So I couldn't compare side by side. I guess I learned something today :pat:

Tailights are fine.....but the grill will look funny since the J-spec bumpers do not have the crash guard adn the "beak" that the US-spec M45 has.  So the grill will be flat across the center while the US-spec bumper will have a bulge in the center of the bumper.
