Interior Difference...97-98 Y33 Q45

Okay guys so i'm looking to get a wood kit for the 97 Y33.  And of course like nobody makes them for the 97 Q because of the clock configuration.  I was wondering if like everything else was the same.

That's the pic of the kit I want and I was thinking that I could just use everything but #6...am I correct?

I would just ask Zion to paint my interior parts!

Sometimes those kits are really cheap!

I was thinking about that, but Grant really recommended these guys and they're cheaper so I thought i'd just try them out.  If they don't come out how I want then i'll have to hit up Zion...

Anyway...am I correct?

Upgrade to 98+ dash , then get a wood kit.  I have seen wood dash kits for 97 Qs. I like my wood dash kit even thought you could see  the edges.

all the after market wood grain kits are synthetic for the Q45..There was this one guy to bad I dont have his info anymore who made real wood grain kits out of real wood..soo so nice..I got that kit and it came with over head light trim, door handels, ac vents, speed cluster bezel ,steering wheel control, parling garage bezel and a few more peieces. I have since then seen other kits out there but they are all pretty much the same raging from $100-$300 and like I said they are all pretty much the same.  Dont know how much the one Grant told you about but if I was going for a woodgrain kit I deff would look for the cheapest and the one that comes with the  most parts...
 
Here is a kit I found for $118.83 shipped it has more pieces than the one you posted from Grant and I actually like the glove box area but I can make that myself plus I will be making me a dash table and it will cover the glove box..here is a picture of what you get...Pm me and I will give you the info on it if you are interested or just serch ebay..I believe we cant post links anymore for ebay so yeah hit me up and I will give you the item #

YOu could allways sell the part for 99+ models on the forum to get some $$ back towards this kit...food for thought..
 
WOod color is the same and all the other parts are the same except like you said the clock portion of the kit....
