F50 QUESTION

what is the difference between the standard and touring package for the 02-04 q?
is it:
18 inch wheels
adaptive cruise control
electronic damping suspension control
heated front seats
navigation system
power rear seat
power rear sunshade
rear air conditioning controls
rear audio controls
run flat tires
???
and why do some have more wood than others? by the navigation system...thanks

Rear view camera
18' full size spare
recling back seats
heated back seats
rear side window shades
 
ANd I think you listed every thing else. If your looking for a F50, dont get it with out the premium/sport package. Its worth every penny believe me. Its about a couple thousand more but maybe even less now adays but it will make you appreciate your ride that much more. I said it once and I'll say it again, you get more for the money then you would with an LS430 for the same price plus your ride will be more exclusive since less were built and sold.

Edit: The wood by the navigation system is an after market option.  It doesnt come stock.

I have the i guess so called "sport" edition...I don't have rear heated seats or reclining..maybe later models...I do have the window side and rear shades and the adjsutable damper.  I do have the 18" full size spare...I don't have the rear view camera.  no adaptive cruise control...i do have the sport carpets...

I got two F50, one is a "Premium" and one is the "Sport". By what you are telling us, I can tell you that yours is a "Sport" model. Neither one of my cars have the adaptive cruise control as it was only available later in the 2002 production date. The Sport also have a blue tint to the headlights and tail lights.

I didnt know that, from what I was told the sport and premuim had basicially the same options.  Thanks
 
Oh and I have never used the adaptive cruise control.  I dont trust a car to do the driving for me especially when people cant drive in NY

Another option that I forgot about is the headlights can be adjusted with a switch on the dash on the Sport and premium models.

The Sport headlights and tail lights are extremely rare compared to the normal headlights.

Yes thats part of the reason I went with the President headlights, I couldnt find a replacement for one of my cracked headlights at the time. Even the dealers was having a hard time getting that light let alone a junk yard.

The reverse lens have a blue tint to them. Is there any modification to installing the President headlights? And how different are the President compared to the later 05+ Q45 headlights with the adaptive lights?

Yes your right, about the tails, I never noticed before.
 
For the president headlights, I had to cut one of the top plastic tabs in order for it to fit but nothing anyone would have trouble with. THe president headlights and the 05 USDM lights are similiar except on the president headlights, there is a projector looking lens below the gatling gun p7 projector that moves with the steering wheel.  The 05 USDM headlights dont have that feature from what I was told. I didnt bother looking into making it work with my car though.

I'm in the market for an F50.  Sorry to thread jack...can the electronic damping control be adjusted or anything?  Is that factory air suspension?
