Black Chrome Spokes

This is my first time doing this so let me know how I do. 
I am painting the spokes to Rays GT-7 black chrome. I'm lucky to have a paint booth next door to my work so for those of you whom want to do this just make sure you do it in a place that is clean, taped off an area you can use garbage bags taped together the main thing you should do is clean the floor cause when you spray all that dirty stuff goes everywhere and will stick to the paint. I don't know how much this will cost yet but I'll keep everyone updated as I go through the process.

Bolts hold the spokes in just use a 10mm break the bolts loose

After you get the bolts stand the wheel up and you should be able to unscrew with your fingers

I have found it best to do one wheel at a time just so you don't miss place the hardware I use bags to keep the hardware in and I number the rim to hardware. 
My pictures are too big so i have to fix them I'll cont.. tomorrow

I thought Rays didn't release RTVs...how will you know you reassembled them properly?

Do u know what the torque rating is on those bolts?

i got gt7's too! the bolts that hold the wheel together break madd easy so be careful when reasembling. i never knew the torque specs... the lips of those wheels get messed up if  u look at them wrong! i am excited to see how they look when done. B.T.W. there is a break in the bolts where the valve stem goes through. there is only 1 way to put them back together

Yeah this is my first time doing this to a Volk. I'm scuffing them right now actually. I have new nuts and bolts for each wheel, the specs I got from a guy that has already done this to his GTs his are painted House of Kolor Kameleon opals though if i find the pic that i have i'll post it up. Thanks

also use loctite or something when you reassemble.    On my old 5zigen heidfelds some of the bolts came loose.

Finally they came out the right shade of color, one angle black then as you walk around it fades lighter pretty cool I think

re assemble my friend sent a tube of the stuff they use on the bolts can't read it but I think it is similar to lock tight blue

I'm still waiting for Rays lugs, center caps and new logos 
its snowing like crazy here so I have to wait till spring to mount them. In all this was more time consuming than I thought. The paint cost $500. Had to put the 67 stang in too. enjoy!

can't see any of your attachments but i'm sure they came out great...
 
you didn't paint them on the floor like you said you were gonna do in your 1st post did you? just use some parts stand or carboard boxes...

I'll try to fix those pictures today. They were on a stand when i painted them. i just sat them down on some buckets after i scuffed them.
