Acura RDX 1, Infiniti 0. But on the plus side, the 24 year old girl driving was very pretty and was really cool about the situation. It was raining pretty hard and she had to stop suddenly for someone in front of her and I guess her brakes/tires are better than mine. I'm actually not the pissed about it because I wanted to repaint my bumpers anyway. So now they get done for free! Oh well, shit happens.

If the tabs were broken off of the headlights, the insurance will usually pay for new headlights as well

Yeah, I need a new bumper (maybe), pass headlight, grill and hood. You can't see it but the hood is pretty crunched., plus all the plastics behind the grill are fucked. Nothing got pushed into he fans and the core support is fine. Only thing I am concerned about is the hood hinge on the pass side. It's bent and hopefully it did not damage where it bolts to.

Wow no deductible?

Here in BC, if I hit someone from behind my premiums would go way up because I would lose my safe drivers discount.  My rate would probably double from $1200 to $2400 a year.  I would also have to pay a $300 deductible to have it repaired.

Go take it to a place where they give really good estimates, then take the check, and buy a president front. LOL if that check will cover it!

I got an estimate form where I work for $6115. So Now I am waiting for the insurance company to come and check it out for themselves.

$1200 for a replacement headlight ftl.

That was for brand new parts, not used. So the price could come down ALOT. Pretty much down about $2000 if I used used parts.
