Hey guys just thought i'd throw up some pics of my Y33. I know MOST of you will hate the tail lights but I like em. The only thing about my car that will be VIP will be the stance and fitment. And yes I need new fogs haha.

stance and fitment are the only thing you should worry about. everything else is just a matter of taste. but you're right... i don't like the tails. gl on the build.

Why did you paint your tail lights???? Also noticed you painted your grill as well...which looks kinda of cool...just wondering where you are headed with your project....Looks like you lowered on something....I do like the color of the car not very common color on these boards...

Yea I painted the tails because I did it on my GS and absolutely loved it. On this car i'm still not sure. I did the grille and really like how that came out. I'm not going any specific way with my car. I'm just doing mods that I like and that will make it look good to me. I love VIP stance and fitment and interior. But other then that i'm not feeling much of it. So I will just mod to my tastes..

Yea I painted the tails because I did it on my GS and absolutely loved it. On this car i'm still not sure. I did the grille and really like how that came out. I'm not going any specific way with my car. I'm just doing mods that I like and that will make it look good to me. I love VIP stance and fitment and interior. But other then that i'm not feeling much of it. So I will just mod to my tastes..

You HAD to do it....I think you need to end your club lexus screen name! You don't have a lexus anymore...hehe. Anyways...do what you like, I'm sure there's some way to make it work. Something to sit on the pot and wonder about, maybe you could run stock taillights, but take them apart, and smoke the inside black, and take out the light diffusers? I did that on my stock LS400 tail lights, it looked a lot different, and a lot more 'updated'. I don't know how the stock tail lights are on the inside of the Q45 though.
