Airbag question.

I know UAS makes these airbags that you can replace your coilover/stock springs with.
I want to know if there is any other company that makes the same type of airbags?
I want more travel than the UAS bags can give me.

We own the patient on the technology where the bag is not sealed against the shock.

How much travel are you looking for?  What kind of car?  Aprox weight of the car?

it`s a 2000 Audi A6 Avant.
I actually would like as much travel as possible.
the approx weight of the car is 1600kg.

i have like 6 inches of travel...how is that not enough?!?!?!?

Really? I just checked out the specs of the aerosports, and they were 9 inches extended and 4 inches compressed. 6 inches is perfect if I can get that with the aerosports.

i can measure my dumped VS total height if youd like....and take a picture. its right around 6 inches. has to be

all the way down, is touching hte ground..

Keep in mind that you will get more travel at the wheels because of the suspension geometry.

i get less travel because of the internal stop technically.

I think what he means is that because of lateral movement, your car's body may change in altitude as many units of measurement as the strut assembly expands/contracts.

If you think about it, the strut can only extend so much, the body hits the limit there. I can squeeze a little more out becuase i didnt preload the bag as much as i should of, and the fronts ends hella heavy. 

but i see no reason why any car would change height from lateral movement....
aside from turning the wheels and the opposite corner getting an inch of height, just from the wheels turning

An easy way to look at it, depending on where the strut is mounted to.  If its half way down the lower control arm then 1" at the bag will equate out to 2" at the wheels.  If its 3/4 way down the arm then 1" at the bag you will get 1.333" at the wheels

we are all mounted on the ourward of the LCA.

The Y33's ES/RX mount out at the spindle.  The G35(skyline)/350z's.  IS/GS/LS/SC all mount down to the LCA like the A6.

you shoulid be able to get like an inch more out of that type setup for sure

so maybe a 6 6.5 inch rang i think.
its in about 4 or 5 inches more on the LCA so it should work great

Every car is different.  I will try and see if i can get some pictures of the A6 that our Universal Air Japan did and see about some more details.
